The Cuddlefox family of Arkenian Kitsunes emerged during the last major conflicts from a pair of Kitsunes belonging to one of the Healer Magi. While they possessed no healing ability of their own, they discovered that their presence, curled up next to borderline patients, would offer comfort, sometimes enough to pull them through. They used their sharp noses to find wounded and in cold battles they, and their offspring, would find the wounded and curl up next to them to keep them warm, so they aided the healers and helped to save many lives. While still carnivores their otherwise gentle nature has made them highly prized amongst Healers at the keep.
