There was, deep in a forest of Cervinus deer, some rabbits. They had beautiful silver fur and were as graceful as ever. Because of their fur and because of the humans' new courage to enter the forest, they hunted these rabbits for their furs. Frightened, the rabbits dug borrows deep underground. There, they stayed. During the winter, when the humans were all in their homes, they would come out. Winter became their breeding season soon. One particular rabbit had fallen in love with an elk. Their children all had horns. Beautiful silver horns and the silver pelt of the rabbit. Descended from these rabbits, Holly and Holland named their family Silverhorn out of pride of their silver antlers.
