I visited Arkene in the late Summer, when the winds are not so bitter and one can enjoy the scenery without too much risk of freezing to death or getting eaten by a great white bear. I was hoping to witness the spectacle of a migrating Narwhal pod and so, when I happened upon a trading post in the wilderness, I popped in to see if the owner had any guidance for me - over, of course, a warm drink. Unfortunately, Klara informed me that I had just missed the pods by a week, but my trip was not a complete waste - I purchased two Arkenian Kitsune eggs before leaving, a lucky find as they usually breed much earlier in the year. Upon my return to the keep they hatched and I named them Rasmus and Freya. They were two of the most mischievous, curious and overall lively little souls I've ever encountered, traits which they still maintain much of as adults. When they became mates I gave them the Fjorvi name, from the Arkenian word for the life energy which they seem to possess so much of.
