The one known as the Vault Dweller, the hero of the Wasteland, originated from Vault 13 and was one of the first vault dwellers since the Great War to emerge. First they solved the vault's water crisis. Then they saved New California from the scourge of Super Mutants and the cultists of the Master. They were cast from their Vault by its overseer Jacoren, the "thanks" they received for being a hero, and with others who chose to follow created a legacy far north which would spawn more tales to come...
This family is represented by Tropical Triaks for their neat coloration resembling that of Vault-Tec jumpsuits. The progenitors are the famed Vault Dweller and their predecessor who also left the vault, Talius. The Vault Dweller's canon partner, Pat, is represented instead in the Arroyo lineage.
