You enter a beautiful cavern, a shaft of glowing light illuminating the stony walls from a hole into the sky above. The icy air and endless snowy landscape is forgotten, and you settle down after a strenuous walk through the northern lands. But something else has made its home here. Huge, majestic forms with frozen breath and lustrous but daggerlike feathers watch your every move, their yellow fangs as sharp as a thousand knives. You realise that this is not a refuge, but the lair of unknown monsters. Terrified, you exit the cavern faster than your mind can process the events.
