The FellFire lineage started with a dark-fire magi whom possessed a particularly vicious Hellhound female that had a penchant for brutality. He sought to harness this strength without fully taming the beast or becoming killed by it in the process. A tentative solution was discovered after pairing the violent canine to a submissive mate that could tolerate the abusive nature of the she-beast. The submissive male became the target of its mate’s violent outbursts, yet the bond between the pair seemed strengthened by the savage behavior of the two. The union seemed a success. Pups from the lineage tend toward one extreme or the other, behaving as barely tamable pups or as cowed lap dogs. Magi who obtain pups from this lineage should be wary the aggressive ones. While they lend incredible power to their masters, they never seem to become fully tame.
