Years ago, a lone Gryphon began to have dreams of a time before reckoning, when the world was younger and any Gryphon had a place to belong. Those she spoke to about her dreams derided her, and told her she was foolish. Soon, though, she dreamed of a cave, high in the mountains, higher than anyone she knew had ever flown, where she could find proof that these dreams were real.
She set off on her journey, flying high above the mountains to the north of Synara City. She drew strength from cold streams, and took directions from Direwolves and Elk that roamed the cold mountains. Soon, she arrived at the peak of the mountain...
