The Hewitt's were never a truly special family until Todd, the last boy in a town full of lies. It wasn't until he found a hole in those lies that he finally escaped... and that hole was Viola. There were no girls. All the women had died. Yet Viola was there... a girl in a world of men.

There were more. More men... more women. Todd ran, and Viola ran with him, both pursued by an army of people from Todd's hometown, who needed him for one reason. Not only was he the last boy, but he was the boy who couldn't kill. If he joined them... anyone could.
He never did, though he came close. Both have been to the edge and back, almost losing themselves in the power around them, but the one thing that always kept them going was each other. They've had the world on their shoulders, but neither collapsed under the weight. They kept fighting, a constant battle to unite New World.
They got their peace in the end.
