The Shadowsuns are a pack of elusive direwolves, rarely seen by magi. Unlike most dires, the Shadowsuns prefer to come out near dusk or twilight, the most mysterious and dreamy time of night.
Contrary to popular belief, the Shadowsun direwolves live in peaceful harmony with Shadowmoon panthers; in fact, the two families have been seen mingling together at night. How and why this peace came to be is unknown, but the special relationship shared by the dire and panthers is a natural example of how two beings, no matter how different, can live together in harmony.
