In some families it is a tradition to name children after dear loved ones who have passed away. When two warring families lost their most precious children, a traveling Magi who fell in love with their tale deemed it fit to name two Axlotl newborns after the lost lovers.
Today, the hatchlings have grown and started their own family, giving their children to be named by magi who have lost someone dear to them in hopes it will bring them good will.
