Raised by a Magi whose soul was made of fire, the phoenixes became permanent companions of her. They often sat in her neck for she felt cold without them, only knowing the warmth of fire. This partnership soon became a friendship, as deeply as it could have been and in order to mark them as a special kind of phoenix forever, the Magi named them 'Hotspot', playing with the subtle irony of the name meaning 'location of danger'.
