Re: Inequivalent Exchange [OOC]
That could work! Ishvala supposedly forbids alchemy, so if your character is an alchemist that might get them shunned anyway.

Re: Inequivalent Exchange [OOC]
How many people do we need to start? I'd hate for this roleplay to die before it started.

And yah, I'm curious about starting too.

Re: Inequivalent Exchange [OOC]
I'm very excited but while we wait I am going to edit Teagan's Bio and personality, it could use some tweaking. Also does my character need a specific rank? Or is state alchemist fine?

Re: Inequivalent Exchange [OOC]
I think State Alchemist should be fine. I'm not sure of ranks myself, I just knew Armstrong was a major so I went with that because I am So Knowledgeable and Not Lazy At All.

I feel you Marth haha, I really wasn't aware of the ranks at all I just knew some people ordered others around and blah blah.

Re: Inequivalent Exchange [OOC]
All state alchemists have a rank equivalent to Major, but not all state alchemists are majors (but that depends on if they are in the military or not). Like Edward had the rank equivalent but he had no actual command and would not actually gain any ranks because he was not actually a military person.
Kind of like in cop shows where there's that one super special citizen that works with the detective. He has a rank equal to the detective (ie: can go into crime scenes, see files, maybe use the cop radio, carry a gun, etc) but he is not ACTUALLY a cop, so there are things he is restricted to, he can't just order all the cops around, and he won't be getting any promotions. He may of course actually go to school and then join the police force, and he will probably join up as a detective and work his way up from there. But until then, he is just a consultant with an equivalent rank.
Hope that made sense
