They usually run pretty smoothly in a forum rp, its not too too much different from other places where you would. Everyone has a turn as things just go off in order, if we can.

Honestly I'm at work bumming around on the comp but I'm still doing what I need to do, so I'm fine. Unless the block the site or I'm sleeping, I'm usually around. How many campaigns have ya played in D&D? :>

My friends and I would play an offshoot of Dnd that focuses more on the story (Dungeon World)
I have played three campaigns, and DM'd a traditional one!
I started participating in DnD about a year ago. :D

Actually, that's how i met Bry/ Solus, when he DM'd a game for me a few years back! It's also how I got my favorite character to play as, Loviing. He let me get away with a loooot of nonsense. A lot a lot. I've been in a few games, with him DMing after that, but I never got to do my own campaign. We were trying to make a version of Exalted to work for Borderlands, I believe? We'll get back to it eventually, I did have a story in mind. :>

Maybe we can do a D&D thing at some point, too, eh?

Sounds good to me! I will actually be organizing a DnD game in a little bit (no exact timeframe yet) with some guild mates on discord. I was never very fond of all the crazy rules and I have only DM'd one game before so it'll certainly be interesting, haha! It will likely follow more closely along Dungeon World mechanics. :D

Do you use roll20 to play?
I mean, if you're going for character development, a serious campaign can be nice, but you HAVE to have fun. My first game was the most fun. I could write a book about it and we never even finished it. Oooooh boy. What's even worse than an inflexible rules are players who... I don't know. Don't try to get into character? It's kinda dull.
Dungeon World?

Haha the guild I am in is TOGI: Tribe of Gaming Idiots, we are not crazy serious, whatever we do it is always for the purpose of having fun! Dungeon World is an offshoot of DnD, instead of having acrobatics and other very specialized skills we focus more on rolls that either fail, work with a consequence, or are successfully pulled off (It allows you to do much more in a situation- I'm bad at explaining things). I have only DM'd one game before so it certainly won't be a pro-level session :bounce: .

A lot of people are interested so it might be branched off into two campaigns that can indirectly influence each other. All of my DnD campaigns have been in person (Except one) so it will either be tabletop or roll20 and I will be a super newb DM haha! The people who are currently interested are all very passionate, and most of them are newcomers to this type of game if I remember correctly. I have a feeling they'll stay in character, but it's only a guess :D .

Note:
All the games I have been in so far have been crazy fun! While I am new to being a DM I hope I will make my campaigns just as entertaining!

I'll have to look at the link when I get home, it's blocked on the work computer. MS is one of the only sites that ISN'T blocked.
Also that sounds like a FANTASTIC guild. Mmmm, I do enjoy being a rogue though. Skill monkeys. Not much I couldn't at least try~
Having two sessions that can mess with each other is actually a really cool idea? Omg it'll be so much fun, you'll have to let me know how it goes!
And text wall away, reading doesn't hurt, pfft.

Haha yeah! I personally love the guild, I think I am actually one of the head mods but I really couldn't tell you, it's very laid back. We have an RPG (For DnD) channel that was created for my campaign once it actually starts, an Overwatch channel, and a channel for mmorpgs like Swtor and Diablo. All sorts of people in it, all of us a little eccentric in our own ways!

It's fun, I enjoy it, and hopefully this DnD campaign will be fun too! I like the idea of two parties being able to inadvertently (and perhaps intentionally) influence each other in the campaign, even when the other party isn't present. Should be entertaining to see what happens!

We'll definitely have to do something like that for us, if we get if enough. :>

The amount of shenanigans you'll have is nuts

I just found an online version of MTG! Perhaps I can learn the game more efficiently if I actually play against opponents, haha! Looks like it is an online one too, I'll let you guys know if it is any good! (Although seeing as I have never played the game my review won't exactly be stellar haha)
