Name: Sapphire Gespatto

Appearance: Sapphire has sunny blonde hair that falls in gentle waves and a heart shaped face. She has very round lips that form in the shape of an 'o', and startlingly crystal blue eyes that match her name. She's willowy and tall, with gentle curves along her pale frame. She's truly quite beautiful, a fact which is poetically ironic, as she will never know how she looks.


History: When Sapphire was born, her parents were incredibly pleased to receive a healthy baby girl with such beautiful eyes. They took her home and basked in the happiness of their new infant, only to slowly crumble into worry. Within three days, their baby developed a terrible fever. They took her to the hospital, where the baby remained in an intensive state for two weeks. Eventually Sapphire recovered, but at a cost: the fever had rendered her blind. Sapphire has grown up since without sight. She has never seen anything, not her parents' smiles, the color of sapphires for which she was named, or even the organic timer supposedly embedded in her wrist. As a result, she largely disbelieves in the idea of soulmates and even considers that everyone might be playing a large joke on her. It doesn't help that due to her disability, many people have tried to take advantage of her.
Personality: Sapphire is incredibly sarcastic. She finds enjoyment in messing with people, especially if they are someone who treats her like a weak little blind girl in constant need of rescuing. Sometimes, she doesn't even let people know she's blind until the very end. The girl is incredibly open and honest about her opinions, and has never been the type to bite her tongue. She's hotheaded and stubborn, with an incredible sense of righteousness. If she feels she or someone is being wronged, she will say so. She loves to joke around and laugh, although truthfully she doesn't have too many friends. Part of the reason is that she's not really very trusting of others, and she usually assumes there's always an ulterior motive. She's very relaxed and easy going most of the time, but she is also very hardworking and studious. She refuses to be washed away by life, and wants to make a name for herself. She wants to change the world and leave footsteps on the metaphorical beach of life that can never be washed away.
Orientation: Biromantic Heterosexual, as she's romantic towards either gender but any sexual attraction is largely targeted towards the male.
Soulmate: None yet.
Other: Since Sapphire is blind, she has no idea what her timer looks like. She doesn't know if it's still counting or has already reached zero, or even if she has one at all. She doesn't trust others to tell her the truth either, but she has long since come to realization that she's not interested in the idea of soulmates. To her, she'd rather fall in love with someone for who they are and not because fate or some government conspiracy decided for her. She has a guide dog named Rusty, who is a red Golden Retriever.[/spoiler]

Appearance: Cedrick is barely 5'7" in a half, although he will shout that half till the end of days. He has a very normal male physique with normal feature, with nothing really being too outstandingly noticeable. He has a very warm smile though, one that sudden makes him rather adorable. His eyes are blue green, although they're more green than blue.


History: Cedrick was the oldest of twins, being completely identical to his brother Kendrick. The two were best of friends despite being complete opposites. Cedrick was very protective of his brother, who constantly got bullied for being gay. Kendrick had incredible difficulty gaining acceptance from his peers and family, but Cedrick would always support him no matter what. Anytime Kendrick would develope a bad habit to cope such as self mutilation or drugs, Cedrick would always be there to stop him and help him recover again. After years of abuse, both from himself and from others, Kendrick eventually reached a point in life where he was happy. The two were finally getting ready to move, and Kendrick even hinted towards the idea of finding someone. Being identical, the two brothers were even on the same number in their soulmate countdown and had agreed that they'd meet their soulmates at the same time together. But during the trip to their new home, the brothers got sideswept by a semi truck along a winding mountain road. That day, Cedrick's timer broke and has been frozen ever since. Worse than that though, was that Kendrick was mortally injured. He slipped into a coma and was declared brain dead. The doctors have been pleading with Cedrick to pull the plug, but he refuses to do so. He has been working three different jobs to pay for Kendrick's medical expenses ever since.
Personality: Cedrick is incredibly kind and patient around most. He's encouraging and accepting of others, finding that he knows how hard it is in life to be rejected. He's very sincere and willing to help in anyway he can. Because of his normally gentle nature, most wouldn't know there's an incredibly protective and fierce soul underneath. Some would say he has a hero complex, but he has never been able to stand idle by. He would go out of his way to save anyone, even from themselves. He's grown a bit reckless since Kendrick hasn't been around to hold him back, and as a result gets hurt very often. Cedrick has always been the type to jump first and think later.
Orientation: Heterosexual
Soulmate: Aidreena Blair
Other: No one's entirely sure why Cedrick's timer broke, although he feels it is symbolic of the state of his brother. He's not exactly in a rush to fix it either, as he wants to be able to keep his promise with Kendrick when his twin wakes up.
