((Oh, my birthday is on the 28th! I have plans for around that time, so I didn't want to set the auction up then, cause I could not be sure if I could keep an eye on it. And, as far as the first kisses, I think Tami and Kieran's could be pretty soon, cause their relationship is moving along fairly quickly. But Aiden and Raven's I think will be a while yet, since Aiden is so dumb. Hahah...))

Kieran pulled a couple of rabbits from the pile and inspected them "These look good." he said. He pulled a knife from his side, sat down on a stump and began to skin them.
"So, the mating rituals will be coming up soon." he said, not looking up from what he was doing "Do....do you have anyone that, well, that you have pinned your hopes on?" he asked, feeling nervous and silly for asking such a question. Maybe he didn't want to know the answer? But he did want to know, that was why he was asking....

Aiden shifted and trotted behind Raven, lining up with her and grinning "Okay. One....Two...THREE!" with that, he shot off, his nails digging into the ground as his muscles propelled his body forward, toward the outside of camp.
He sped past several huts and jumped a log before looking to see if Raven was keeping up.

((Well happy early b-day then ; mine isn't until the beginning of the month of November so I have awhile yet before I turn a year older...okay all that sounds good and ; I wouldn't say dumb, just oblivious ))

Raven took off after Aiden after he had counted to three and also after he had gotten a head start. She was able to quickly catch up to him and then pass him shortly afterward when he looked behind him to see if she was keeping up or not. She then went around a bend in their little improvised race track when they came upon one and kept going, not looking back because she knew that if she did she would get distracted and if that happened she would definitely lose for sure.

Tami nodded in agreement and in reply to Kieran's statement about the rabbits that he had selected for them to eat looking good before hearing his other statement he said as well as the question that he asked.
"I almost forgot about that and yes I do actually," she said in reply to both his other statement as well as his question. "The boy I have my sights on is really handsome, caring, and loving towards his brother and friends and is currently fixing us something to eat."
She was talking about him and wondered if he'd catch onto that or not but she also gave him a hint since she didn't want him to think that she was talking about Aiden.

Kieran felt his heart sinking into his feet when Tami said that she did have someone in mind. When she started to describe the guy, his heart started sinking lower until she mentioned that he was fixing them something to eat at that moment.
Kieran stopped what he was doing, his eyes widening, and he looked up at Tami "You mean....me???" he asked, his voice squeaking slightly.

Aiden thought he was doing good.....until Raven passed him.
Dang! She made it look so easy!
He growled and forced his muscles to pump harder, pushing him forward a little faster, but with twice the effort. His muscles were not particularly made for speed. They were made for wielding weapons, jumping, dodging, and crushing skulls. On top of that, he preferred being in his human form for most fighting action that happened. His wolf form was kinda out of shape.
He began to pant as he caught up with Raven, being just behind her shoulder.
They raced past the last few huts and headed for the hunter's path. Once on that, the end of their little race would be upon them. He was making really bad time.... she was going to beat him.

Raven looked behind her briefly at Aiden to see how Aiden was doing and saw that he looked a bit frustrated. She then looked ahead of them again just as he caught up to her a bit and was now behind her shoulder and as they got to the hunter's path. She knew that their little race was going to be ending soon but she wanted to try to prolong it as long as possible since she liked being around him.

"Yes," Tami said in reply with a small smile on her face but also with a curious look on both her face and in her eyes as she saw Kieran's expression and the shock in his eyes at hearing what she said. "I've liked you since we were twelve."
She wondered if he felt the same way and hoped so because she felt that the only boy that she could like in a more than a friend way was him and no one else since she didn't feel this way with any of the other boys in their tribe.

((Sorry! I thought I had posted this the other night, but it went to drafts instead... ))

Aiden huffed and puffed, then he forced his muscles to go faster, once again. He edged up closer, coming neck and neck with Raven.
They began to speed by huts as they followed the hunter's path toward the center of the camp.
Suddenly, someone with buckets of water stepped out into the path.
Aiden dodged them, but the person was so surprised, that he stumbled, hit Aiden with the buckets, and then tripped and landed right on top of him.
Aiden yelped painfully, but then quickly squiggled out from under the gasping person.
He turned and growled at the man.
"Oh! I am so sorry! I am ever so sorry! I didn't see you and...and I was so shocked... I am so sorry!" the man stammered.
Aiden rolled his eyes. And omega. Of course he would be flattened by a brainless omega.
He turned and then yelped as he stepped down on his left back leg. Pain shot up it from his knee joint, making him freeze in place.
A SPRAIN? He had a sprain??
"Gosh darn it, by all that is holy, stupid, freaking, nettle sucking, bat wings..." he continued to growl his curses, directing some of them at the trembling man, and some of them at himself for not reacting faster. He was a warrior for crying out loud! He should be as nimble and fast as a rabbit!

Kieran stood to his feet, wanting to grab Tami and give her a big, happy hug, but refraining because of the rabbit he was working on.
"Really?" was all he could squeak out for a moment, a bright smile coming to his eyes and face.
He finally cleared his throat, taking on his normal, more dignified and serious pose.
"That's wonderful Tami!" he finally said "You never gave me a hint. I...I was afraid that there was someone else you...well...you know. I was afraid of that because I have found myself growing increasingly more interested in you. But you never gave me even a hint of your interest, so....I kept my feelings to myself."

Raven briefly looked over to her side when she saw Aiden run next to her out of the corner of her eye. She continued to run with him down the hunter's path that led to the center of camp until an Omega got into his path and flattened him by accident in his surprise. She stopped when she heard the poor man stutter out apologies as well as Aiden's curses after it seemed that he injured himself while trying to catch up to her again. She headed towards him with a concerned look in her eyes and on her face as she looked at his leg.
"Are you okay?" she asked him with the concern she felt for him in her voice. "Do you need help going over to Tami so that she can heal it?"
She was always concerned when her friends got hurt since it made her a bit worried but it was clear that she was really worried and concerned about Aiden since she liked him a lot but she was too shy to tell him at the moment.

Tami just nodded in reply to Kieran's squeaked out question that he asked in reply to all that she had said before hearing the rest of what he said afterward.
"The only person I've ever liked is you and I thought that I would wait for the opportune time to tell you since before now I've been really shy to tell you," she said as she looked down at the ground since she felt her cheeks getting warm again causing a small blush to be on them and she wanted to try to hide it a bit from him. "I would've told you myself later had you not asked what you did earlier."

Aiden sighed and kept his leg up off the ground "No, I think I can walk by myself, or else I'm not a warrior." he limped forward, keeping his sprained leg up "But, I don't think I'll try running. And...I think you won the race." he added with a chuckle.

Kieran smiled "Well, I guess its a good thing I mentioned something." he said.
He stared at her for a moment, feeling inclined to lean in and give her a kiss, but then a movement caught his eye.
He looked up and saw Aiden and Raven coming toward them.
"Perfect timing..." he thought sarcastically to himself until he saw his twin limping.
"Aiden? Why are you limping?" He asked with concern "What did you do now?"

Raven just nodded in reply to everything that he said before walking beside him as they headed back towards camp. She did giggle a bit at his last comment about her winning as they continued to walk slowly back to where they had last seen the two lovebirds. She just wanted to make sure that he didn't hurt himself even more while they walked back. When they got back to where Kieran and Tami were, she heard the questions the former asked the latter and felt inclined to explain what all had happened even though the questions weren't directed at her.
"We were racing," she said as she started to explain the events that led up to Aiden's injury. "We made the kill pile our finish line but as we were finishing up, an Omega got in Aiden's path and accidentally hit him with some buckets, and then tripped over him in his surprise. Then when Aiden got back up to run again, he sprained his knee while stepping back on his left back leg."

Tami nodded when she heard Kieran's reply to everything that she had said earlier and then looked up again when she noticed him staring at her like he wanted to do something else. Kiss her, perhaps? But before he could and she could finish it, he looked away from her at something approaching and saw that it was Aiden and Raven coming back. She sighed softly and a bit wistfully when she saw that, but figured that they'd do what they wanted to do later. It seemed that Aiden was her patient again since he was limping and she found out from Raven what all had happened.
"Let me take a look at that," she said as she knelt down beside his left back leg and put her healing hands on it.
She then closed her eyes, concentrated, and healed it before taking her hands off of it.
"Let me know if that's better," she said as she stayed kneeling next to his leg.

Kieran listend to Raven's story, then he looked at Aiden, a grin spreading across his face "You got mauled accidently by an omega??" He laughed lightly, sitting back down and continuing to work on the rabbits while Tami healed Aiden.

Aiden rolled his eyes and growled at his brother "Haha....very funny. Gafaw, gafaw. Laugh it up." he looked at his leg as Tami finished with it, and he slowly lowered it to the ground "Ah! Yes, that is much better. There is still a little ache, like it is bruised, but that will heal on its own." he said, stretching his leg and then shifting into his human form "Thanks Tami. Your a life saver."

Raven stayed quiet during the twins' exchange but she did have a small smile on her face while she was laughing on the inside. She then laid down beside Aiden as Tami healed the former's left back leg most of the way so that it only felt like a bruise and not a sprain like it did before.

"That's good and you're welcome," Tami said in reply to Aiden's statements after he said what he did to Kieran.
She did blush lightly at his compliment of her being a life saver but it wasn't too noticeable. At least she hoped that it wasn't. She then got up and sat down beside Kieran as he finished up with the rabbits and wondered what they were going to do after they ate.
