I am a sucker for all things with wings and the ability to ride and fly, so I have to say gryphons on principle. However, wolves have more significance to human existence due to the long history between humans and dogs as well as the similar social structure between wolves and between humans. The idea of packs is effectively the same as the idea of family with the love and care that comes with them.
Also I really like the idea of a pack of humans and a pack of wolves meeting in the past while both were on a hunt and thought "Ya know what, you're all right. You go left, I'll go right, and we'll split the prey."

I would say wolves because canines are my favorite species and dogs are my favorite animals. Also I've gotten to visit a wolf sanctuary where we got to feed them. (Not up close, we threw the meat into the enclosures.) We also got to pet some of the friendlier wolf-dogs, none of the actual wolves, and were given instructions for the safety of both us and the animals.

Both, because I love birds of prey and canines. Simurgh are the best of both.
I've always been enthralled by birds and canines, especially wolves. I drew wolves a lot and, eventually, winged wolves. As a child it seemed best of both, but now that I'm older maybe I should be mixing them up more so than just slapping wings and a few feathers on the wolf. Ravens are my favourite bird, though raptors come in as a pretty close second. There's always crows and ravens around my house and I enjoy picking up feathers.

I like wolves a lot
but a Griffon though. That's an amazing mythical creature that i wish were real to tame. You could use one to fly to places and avoid traffic.
