Is it just me or did the plot of those two episodes not feel thought out at all? I really liked Discord but I can't believe they used him again as a villain. And I'm just?? That potion was just deus ex machina and what the heck even argh
Also how did Celestia and Luna forget??? To return the elements of harmony back to the tree after taking them?? You'd think it would be important but apparently not no let's give the things to Twilight???

Yeah, the episodes came out on the 23rd, together apparently.

I didn't really see Discord as a villain, save for in the flashback of when he was first turned to stone. He was just, Discord, the embodiment of Chaos, he's not going to be straight-laced as an arrow and perfectly well behaved. Unless you're talking about his plunder seed things.
And yeah, I was a bit confused about the fact that Luna and Celestia didn't return them if they were that important. Maybe there was a lot more going on at the time and they needed the Elements power and didn't think about putting them back. Or they figured it had enough magic that they wouldn't need to return the elements.
