I just had pure luck, and thank you c:
Freak out for a moment with the limited tiny time you have to choose a pet.
Actually I'm thinking that you are talking about the amount of time till you can switch out the batch of pets for another to choose from ^^

And yup- I would definitely pay with a shop pet for a pet from 2008.
Rarity and demand comes into a big part in trading; so it'll be really helpful if you knew them ^^
// I can link some threads to help you guys if needed~

and looking back a few pages; the forums aren't really scary at all - a lot of people are really friendly if you get to know them! c:

I'm kind-of annoyed by people who would only trade their regular extras for event extras, or one event extra for 2-3 of someone else's. It's like saying "my pets are worth more than yours just because horrhorrhorr". >__>

It's the same here is it not?

Some pets are older and cannot be gained unless traded for so event pets and such that is more current is obviously less valued then the regular pet from before.

It's like saying it's fair to trade a kamar rabbit for an unicorn.

There is a thread that Toki made here ; http://www.chickensmoothie.com/Forum/vi ... 20&t=34891
If you are still confused about rarities and demands. Also there is some other guides c:

and yes - I love those cats * u *
Selcouth is my favorite artist on there ; u ;

I'm talking about a person who employs said tactic for pets that are from THIS month and are still available for adoption. :T
Like, expecting you to give them 2-3 pets for 1 of theirs from the same release.

If something is old then, of course, it'll be more valuable.

But thanks, I'll look through those guides.

I recently joined CS. There are a lot of cool color varieties of pets there, though I wish the actual art was a little more variable. But its still fun. I like seeing what all my pets turn into, and I love when the pound opens-it's like a giant orgy of "ooh, shiny!"

Also, it is just me, or is every single pet on CS "uncommon?" I can count on one hand the number of pets I've seen that have a rating of "common." Something isn't uncommon if every other thing is also uncommon!

Haha yes Raneth I've noticed that too, finding a "Very Common" pet is really a rare occasion now! :'D

I'm sad I keep missing the pound, there's a few I've missed from this month I could do with picking up. Feeling a bit lazy with trades at the moment. xDD;

I didn't know this became active, but I'd like to join :3 I'm still Icethornstar over on CS.

Blargh, I missed the Pound today. It always amuses me how the 1000+ pet days are gone within 30 minutes to an hour. xD

Yea, that's always weird. Though, a lot of people hoard the very commons. In fact, during the Medieval Faire event during the summer (in case some don't know) there were a few rat outcomes that were all very common. They've recently started turning common, but (though I didn't like them that much) a lot of people hoarded them. o3o That could be where they all are, they're so common they're easy to hoard. :B
