I joined CS a couple of days ago.

Does anyone know how long it takes before I can post in CS threads without the annoying wait for some mod to approve my post? It's driving me batshit crazy. I posted in the introduction forum a couple of days ago, and waited for hours... before it was approved and posted.

But I still can't post anywhere without getting the "wait for a mod to approve your post" *headdesk*

I understand that it's good for avoiding spambots posting, but it shouldn't still be there after I got my intro post approved, should it?

edited - it seems it was my posting of a pic that was the problem. I could post in another thread without problem.

NO! The January thread is closed! I just got around organizing my dang pets and some of my Jans aren't even done growing. Now how am I doing to finish my collection.

I think maybe the Archive can help you organizing the January pets? From what I can see it's not complete though, but in the days since I joined there have been additions to it almost every day.

Pound is luck and persistence. When you check the pound, there will be a message, this is the current - "Sorry, the pound is closed at the moment. The pound will open within a day" - the "within a day" will change at some point to "within half a day". And then it's a matter of checking every other hour or so.

Suddenly, there will be a countdown. I think it starts when there's 3 hours left until it opens. The countdown is in hours and minutes. I've followed that countdown three times now, and it always opens 1 minute off the top of the hour.

Sunday - 2.59 pm EST
Monday - 5.59 pm EST
Tuesday - 3.59 pm EST

I'd always assumed that the Pound opened every 24 hours where everyone who adopted the previous day would still be able to get pets. I guess not. Just check every so often, and leave it open on your browser when you see the countdown?

Also, when do rarities usually come out?

I've been on CS since late September '08, so I have most of the pets I like most (except the Blue Rose Dog and the Green Sorbet ). 'Course, I still miss a few every month, so my wishlist keeps growing. Although seeing as how my trades alone contain 1600+ pets dating from '08 to now, they wouldn't generally be all that hard to obtain (if I bothered to try, lol).
