Re: Form for auctions
is it allowed to do mystery auctions? where people bet on a creature that they don't know what it is.Maybe giving a few hints about it... (it'll be a donation creature, but just not telling what it is)

Re: Form for auctions
I'd think, it's not allowed...

Re: Form for auctions
If someone is auctioning off an egg, can they say that the auction ends when it hatches?

Re: Form for auctions
as no one knows exactly when the egg hatched, I would say no.100swimmergirl wrote:If someone is auctioning off an egg, can they say that the auction ends when it hatches?
You can only see when the egg was taken, and there you only see the date. an auction needs a time to end. Otherwise people could still bid although the egg already hatched and no one could proof which was the last valid bid.
So I think this would not be allowed.

Re: Form for auctions
Also, some eggs hatch faster than others-Koi, kitsunes, direwolves, those eggs can be hatched really quickly so they auction would lst half an hour, where as some creatures are really slow at hatching-Icists, any quest creature, CWs, so that auction might last a couple days.Amkorra wrote:as no one knows exactly when the egg hatched, I would say no.100swimmergirl wrote:If someone is auctioning off an egg, can they say that the auction ends when it hatches?

Also, to much potential for cheating- someone could post their bid, then swipe the code and hatch the egg and claim theirs was the last bid before it hatched.
