I have finally arrived in california O___O this time difference is definitely tripping me up though! I rather liked being in the same time zone as MS time!
Anyway I haven't checked the main thread but hopefully I'll be able to whip up a response sometime soon (tanaaa), just gotta buy all my furniture.. build it.. move in.. and get through the first couple of hectic days of orientation, and find some time in between!

Davis! I'm going to UC Davis haha near Sacramento and slightly farther from San Francisco. I know nothing about California, know pretty much no one in California (except a random relative I have never met and my new roommates I'll meet tomorrow), and I've only been in California once before in my life (not counting one or two layovers in airports) - and that was for the interview so I was only there for less than 24 hours.
Phew! Going out to eat in and out for the first time soon.. I'm not so secretly obsessed with shake shack so I'm excited haha

My cousin went to Davis, and now she goes to Berkeley, and my aunt and uncle live near San Fran. Maybe if I ever go visit them we can meet up.

I've been to CA a few times, I think? I used to have family who lived out there. A few of my cousins might still be there, I think, unless they moved to London like they were planning.
Also, I'm genuinely considering composing a playlist of generally hardcore songs for RS. I'm going to TS to our first actual plot thing as soon as our characters fall asleep.
