Or we're busy doing other things. Or we're not sure what to talk about.
How about....
Bologna!
We could talk about bologna. Such as... why the heck is it spelled B-O-L-O-G-N-A, yet pronounced Ballony?
sorry.... Hawke's been dipping into the Halloween candy for Trick or Treaters. Chocolate for breakfast = zaney Hawkeburds. Hee hee!

Re: Otherkin thread for otherkin only
My family has always given out the good stuff. A giant bag of "fun size" Mars brand candy- Snickers, Milky Way, Almond Joy, KitKats, Twix, Reese's Peanut Butter Cups, M&Ms (regular and peanut).
Has anyone else noticed how the 'fun size' keeps getting smaller and the price keeps going up? I'm pretty sure it's not just that my hands got bigger.

Re: Otherkin thread for otherkin only
... you give that out? You don't end up eating it all yourself? Huh.
I think it has to do with the price of packaging. In regards to size, though, they seem pretty consistant to me. I haven't gone shopping for candy in a while though.

Re: Otherkin thread for otherkin only
I remember up until highschool (early to mid 90s... gawds I feel old) the 'fun size' were the same thickness as the regular size, and had an edge of chocolate around the bottom. As a kid, we always felt they were about half the length of a regular size bar, but they were probably closer to a third. We never had a fun size and regular size at the same time to compare with. Now, they're all thin skimpy sticks, like twice the size of the 'bites' size, and the chocolate coating is thin and smooth. But, even up until the last few years, I remember they still had the kind of decorative ripple of thick chocolate on top... not any more.
And then price wise... even in the mid 2000s, you could get a bag for $2.50, now I'm lucky to find them at 2.69 on sale, and usually closer to 2.89. And... the contents of the bag are fewer bars too.
Sadnesses.
Well... I bought the big Costco bag. We'll see if it lasts, or if I'm going to be buying another. Lol!

Re: Otherkin thread for otherkin only
My main issue with bags in general is that they always seem to have a ton of air. Whenever I get a giant bag a chips, I expect a giant bag of chips, not 2/3 a giant bag of chips and 1/3 a bag of air. I'm not asking for it to be stuffed to bursting, but couldn't they at least make it so that it's just 1/8th air?
Also, anytime I get a king sized bar, it never really feels like king size- if I can finish it in one sitting without getting a sick stomach, it's not king sized. End of story ;P

Currently on/off activity. Mostly just gathering pets and gold atm.
