It took a moment for Silvre to wake up, but when she did, she was smiling. Confused at a distinct lack of a certain singing brownie child, she blinked and glanced around before her breath caught in her lungs at the sight of her little Aendaeleah's precarious position. As the erythraean child tumbled down the heap and landed neatly at her feet, Silvre let out her breath, relieved, and giggled at her new companion's adorable manner.

She put a hand over her mouth to try and hide her smile at Aendaeleah's attempt to be serious, but the happiness radiating off her companion seemed to be infectious. When that was combined with her preexisting amusement, her mirth couldn't be held back. "You are just the sweetest thing!" she squealed, pulling her small companion up into a hug. "You just couldn't get any cuter, could you?" she cooed, before reluctantly setting Aendaeleah back down again. Child though her new companion may be, Silvre's body was still waking back up and wasn't strong enough to hold Aendaeleah up for long.

She took a deep, satisfied breath, smiling fondly."I can't wait to have adventures with you, little one," she said more calmly, bending down a bit to Aendaeleah's level, the momentary high caused by euphoria and adorableness wearing off.

Out of the corner of her eye, she saw a strange, humanoid shadow, shifting in and out of focus as she looked at it. "Um... hello?" she called uncertainly, momentarily distracted from her new friend.

((Erythraean's a fun word, it means reddish according to this lovely site. I honestly don't know how to describe Aendaeleah's color Anyway, open post to anyone who wants to respond or interact. Miss Swho, do you know when more misfits will be coming out?))

I'm so happy you like Aendaeleah! She's a little brownie and her face just looks really squidgable to me I was super happy with how her colour scheme worked out She and shinrin just came together so effortlessly. Baird on the other hand deserves a stern talking to. His hair REFUSED to play ball.

I'm aiming for new Misfits for Monday-Tuesday next week, but they might come earlier. I'd like to stagger them a bit better in future - I'm thinking I'll release two lots of three Misfits in a week, maybe two adults and a child at two points so that I can get everyone's awakenings/bottle transformations out more quickly.


Here's my rough plan of action for the moment:
In terms of complexity: [Big][Medium][Small]

Release the Lovers Labyrinth [half-finished, it's so long overdue you'll be able to tell when it's released ]
-Mockingbird's Origional House[since it's the first house being built i might need a bit of time]
-The Overgrown Fountain, at least one Misfit can use it
Six Misfits [of which i have three definite ideas for right now) - finishing touches
Six Bottles + a few extra [of which i have plenty of ideas for] - finishing touches
-First Quests & Items to be given out
-Start practicing for The Happy Barn and Rickety Hut

yup! I have some ideas for companions that will be a little bit different from the way Misfits work. While each Misfit is completely unique, animal companions will be from a specific species, but creatures in that species will have different traits and genetics that make them look unique in their own way. There will be more then one species of creature (to suit your Misfit's type or personality!) which will be released from different locations.

Companions can also be found on quests~

"Uh, shouldn't we follow her?" Neko whispered, glancing worriedly toward Reina. Her Misfit wouldn't really leave her, would she? Well, she didn't really want to take much of a chance on that, even if she felt sure that she could trust Reina to stay. The giantess probably just needed some warming up to. Neko couldn't help wanting to be liked, especially when her Misfits seemed to be so interesting already. Isobelle and Baird seemed like they'd be easy enough to get along with, but she worried that she might accidentally upset Reina.

"Come on Isobelle, let's give her some company," Neko said as she gently took hold of the ballerina's elbow. She already really liked Isobelle, and found her to be incredibly adorable. She tried so hard to appear composed and calm, but her cheerful attitude shined through, and Neko thought that the Misfit was endearing for it. "Achoo! Aw, guess I'm still sneezing," Neko giggled, grinning happily toward her companions.

"Hey," she called after Reina, then realized just how much smaller she was in comparison to her. Her tail flicked nervously and she rubbed behind her head, shuffling her feet as she tried to think of something to say. "Um," Neko muttered softly, "Is... Is Baird always such a flirt?" Neko blushed from what she felt was a horrible attempt to start a conversation. Hopefully, it worked, or else she had simply made a huge fool of herself.

@The RP Discussion: Something I thought I'd point out, but who would be roleplaying as the Misfits? If we take control of our own Misfits then it'd pretty much by us roleplaying with overselves. Unless of course our Misfits travel around meeting everyone else, but then that kind of defeats the purpose of choosing a Misfit to stay grounded in the world. Or does it? And if not us, then Swho? In which case, we'd be giving her a lot of Misfits to control and a lot of tasks to handle. I do love the idea of getting the chance to know our Misfits more and roleplaying with them. I mean, have you seen how cute they all are? But at the same time, I just kind of thought I'd point these things out if only to help with sorting out plans for a thread.

@Swho: So I guess that means you dreaming about me then too? /brick'd
Either that, or we're having the same dream. Which would be pretty cool. That begs the question though: how long have we been dreaming?

I've since eyed every single bottle since I first stumbled across your little baby here. I want to buy them all so badly. Have I mentioned I love the moon? And yin and yang? Which means I love the sun too. Oh, and steampunk. Wait, steampunk? I'm gonna cry, I'm trying so hard to resist. I don't want to hoard them all to myself I wanna hoard them all and keep other people from buying them but I still wanna hoard them. But at the same time, I want them so badly. I think I have a problem.

I totally got that impression from Baird though. He seemed like he'd be a lot of fun, and we'd probably pull a bunch of pranks together (or on each other. Prank war maybe?). While Reina just seems like a no nonsense type of person. So it sounded interesting to see those two in action together. x3

And dear god, I knew Aendaeleah was going to turn out cute. I'll go right ahead and give Baird a scolding for you. xD Seven turned out all cute and colorful though, I knew she was going to be a pleasant little surprise for whoever adopted her. Can't wait to see her outfits. Aw, but I'm kind of hesitant to use my own items. I don't want to overload you. x(

I was kind of thinking that the rp would have us rping our own misfits... but also as a way to interact with each other in Dreamtime land...ville...burg...istan...Field... without filling up this board.

My IRL friends are also big fans of the misfits... I'm trying to get them to join...


Resist... urge... to buy... Sandy... and Frost Bottle... Sandy and Amie look like they could be sisters.

At some point in time, I'm totally turning Amie into a princess. Just not right now. Maybe after we get to know the Shinster a bit more.

I've edited this post like a bazillion times now. Can we buy potions and then give them to others?

Mocking stumbled backward when he saw MARK-12. He looked so..different, but Mocking loved the goggles. He also sounded..happier? Those shining claws were rather interesting, and were probably more useful now than they were before. When MARK fell through the inky liquid, Mocking nearly jumped in after him, a "WAIT I DUNNO IF ITS SAFE" on Mocking's breath.

Airheart didn't seem too pleased at the mess (neither was Mocking) but MARK did say he would clean it up, and Mocking would nag him if he didn't. So, Mocking placed a hand on her shoulder and gave her a reassuring squeeze and then left to go observe MARK more closely. "Well, this is definitely new.." Mocking muttered, squinting up at MARK's oddly-colored hair. He definitely seemed happier, though Mocking wasn't sure if it bordered on creepy. Time would tell, if the misfit was only overly excited to have a new form.

The new misfits were also something, and Mocking was very, very glad that MARK was now energetic enough to hopefully tire out the child. Mocking wasn't too big on children, but he supposed that he could take care of one--with the help of the three adult misfits. Seven would also be a great babysitter, if needed, and Airheart didn't seem too impressed with Wylde, and probably would have little desire to take care of him if things progressed with Wylde still trying to chomp on Airheart. He gently plucked Wylde off of Seven's hand, and knelt down to put the little guy on the ground. "Hey guys, I'm Mocking as you probably knew. Wylde, the lady you just bit is Airheart, and I don't think she appreciates that, and the colorful slime-man over there is MARK-12. We're currently trying to put together a house, but it'll be ramshackle at best, but we'll get to be professional hobos!" Mocking's voice rose an octave, with a hint of a laugh, as he tickled Wylde. "So you wanna help build a house, yeah?" Mocking grinned and took the ecosystem bottle out of his backpack. He called over to Seven to get a little closer, and pulled the cork out of the bottle, and he heard another thunk of a catalog materializing violently into the mailbox.
