I am Quinn and I am new to this site but I have been roleplaying for very long time. Right now I am searching for 1x1 roleplay. I will list some stuff about me and themes that I want/don't want.

Looking for 1x1 Partners Not Currently Looking At This Time

• About Me:
  • I've been roleplaying for 10+ years (be it table-top, forums, or both). That being said, I am not an expert. But I like to consider myself well-versed in roleplaying.
    
    I do write in third person point of view. And while I do not prefer to write in any other style other then third person, if need be, I can switch to second person point of view. I can write any where from two solid paragraphs, all the way up to about four or five paragraphs. Granted, this does depend on my mood and the situation at hand of the roleplay I am in.
    
    I do like chatting with my roleplay partners. It is easier to toss about ideas and the like if I can talk to you. However, I do wish that we keep OOC strictly to PMs. I don't like the clutter of OOC in the roleplay thread itself.

• What I Expect Of My Partner
  • I expect my partner to use third person point of view when roleplaying with me. Good grammar and punctuation is also a must - though I understand errors happen. I also would prefer someone who is chatty, so we can discuss plot and character development. Plus it's always nice to talk the person you're roleplaying with! I would prefer if you were in the range of Semi-Lit to Adv. Lit. But I won't roleplay with anyone below that.
    
    Be active please!!!! I'm not asking for you to be on and replying every minute of every day, but I would greatly prefer if you were on and replaying a minimum of every other day. Yes, I get that life happens, when it does, please notify me when you'll be gone for a long period of time. Because if you don't and you don't give me notice, I will assume you've abandoned the roleplay and will then go ahead and lock the thread.

I've been RPing for about 6 years both on this site and off it. I usually look for lit RPs, so good grammar, spelling, and lengthy posts are what I aim for. Swearing/gore/etc. don't really bother me and my posts may include it. I can play both male and female characters. I work 40 hours a week, so Monday-Friday I'm most active after 5pm (depending on my workload, I may post in the afternoon as well). On weekends, I'm very active unless I have something I need to do (in which case I will let you know). I will also let you know if I have to drop the RP for any reason or if I need a break. I prefer to RP with people 18+ years old. I am willing to RP on googledocs if that is a format you prefer.

Hey everyone, my name is Roccan, but you can all just call me Rook, I am an experienced roleplayer, I have been on this site longer than this account shows. I had taken a step back from the rp scene in order to get familial issues taken care of, but I have come back and want to get back into the mix. I am a really looking for any partner that can write with a moderate amount of skill, I'm not looking for perfection but decent grammar and at least a paragraph per post please.

I am totally game for whatever type of story you want to weave, I want to try them all, sci-fi, modern, or fantasy it's all fine by me, I will do any thing. That said, I do really like to do fantasy, or magic powers based roleplays, I do love a good romance rp, schools/clan/tribe rps are great. If there was a single thing I really prefer not to do it would have to be any animal rps like those ones where everyone is cats, I just don't get into them as much.

Hey guys! It's been a long time since I was active on this site but I've been feeling more and more in the mood for writing plot-based gritty stuff lately. Apologies in advance for the horrid formatting of this post.

I've especially been wanting to revive an old OC of mine, Ezekial Zamthera, summary below.

Zeke: Originally crafted as an old eccentric wizard (inspired by Bumi from Avatar: The Last Airbender), I've taken to playing him in his youthful days, as an emerald-eyed, blond haired man exploring the world. He's at most at home in the fantasy settings I seek, and he's usually had a pretty hard life on the road. Despite being a magical prodigy, his birth and growth as a peasant boy means he's had to self-train, leading to an unstable, emotionally-driven form of magic. Usually I have him on a quest trying to improve himself and his understanding of magic, by heading to a center of civilization to try and enter the lofty, elitist halls of the arcane. Other ideas appreciated though!

I've also come up with some ideas that have failed with other partners but I don't want to relegate to the trash bin just yet. Perhaps you might want to try?

Right-Hand Man: A noblewoman in desperate straits hires a court magician in similarly bad position. Perhaps her husband has just died, or her land is failing, or politics are turning against her. Whatever it is, it is now her and her newly minted amateur archmage against the world, but what a cruel, unforgiving world it is.

Overcity, Undercity: This is more of a science-fiction roleplay, with Zeke playing a different character than he's used to. The bright, modern Overcities floating in the sky run on, with few of their residents knowing that the Undercity that helps keep them running is a place of corruption and mayhem, where magically infected technology is tossed to rust and die, or to rampage until it is slain. Zeke is one of said slayers, a man born in the Undercity, who makes his living disposing of the trash that falls down but isn't quite dead. In the original, my partner played a girl who was in the wrong place at the wrong time, thrown down to the Undercity to be disposed of. If the setting appeals, feel free to shoot me with your own idea!

I've also been very inspired by Darkest Dungeon recently, and would love to discuss something dealing with that kind of setting/set up. Eldritch and Lovecraftian stuff are cool!

About Me:
- I am generally pretty active when involved in RPs and try to post at least once a week.
*That said I'm also kinda petty (not proud of it, but there ya go) so if we've agreed to posting once a week minimum but my partner's responses are consistently slow af then I will 100% match that pace 'cause I don't think it's fair to have to wait like 2-3 weeks for a reply when mine was sent out after like two days...
- I write in advanced lit., third-person POV, and my posts are generally 2+ paragraphs in length.
*If I get a one-liner that gives me nothing to work with I will straight-up not respond to it.
- I can play both male and female characters, but I tend to lean more toward females. My characters are tailored specifically for each RP. I seem to favor feisty personalities as well, but I'm flexible.
- I prefer to RP through this site just to keep things simple, but I'm open to suggestions.
- I would prefer not having a ton of characters, because -with very few exceptions- I hate RPing interactions between my own characters. It's like talking to myself or something.
- I'm fine with gore, swearing, and mild romance. I have no interest in romance-driven plots, however.


Expectations of my Partner:
- Activity. I'd like a response at absolute bare minimum once a week.
- Communication. Writer's block? Let me know, I can probably help you brainstorm some ideas. Lack of motivation? Irl crap going on? Fine, it happens, but tell me about it, please and thank you.
- I'd prefer someone with a very firm grasp of English that is capable of lit. to advanced-lit. writing.
- I'd like replies to be of decent length, preferably a minimum of two paragraphs, with generally enough detail to make them fun to read. I understand, though, that -especially during long conversations- long posts might sometimes be hard to dole out.

Things I Won't Do:

- Furries
- Things primarily from an animal's perspective.
- Romance heavy/centered plots.
- Over-complicated/restricting plots.

What Type Of Partner I Want:

I want a partner that can RPG at least once a day. I will make an exception if they were going on a trip or something important came up. If you are going on a trip, however, please tell me first so my brain doesn't overload with worry. I also want a partner who's going to be nice and respectful. Please tell me if you're stuck or need ideas because I'm probably bursting with ideas!!! Also, I want a partner who isn't just going to write one sentence when it's their chracter's turn. I expect at least a mini paragraph. The only time I would expect a sentence is if the story isn't progressing very much or you ran out of time. Please leave a note to tell you you ran out of time and will finish later or something at least. Additionally, please have good or decent grammar!

Hello all! I am new to this site but have been role-playing for about 11 years. I am looking for a semi literate partner who can at least post a paragraph (5-7 lines) per post or more. I usually post 1-3 paragraph's per post. I always play a female character as I'm not that good at male ones. I am open to FxF as well as FxM pairings. Here are a few plot ideas I was thinking of doing:

- werewolves: two werewolf packs, the moon pack and the star pack, are at war over territory and den grounds. one day the daughter of the Alphas of the Moon pack was out for a walk when she comes across one of the Star packs members on their land.

-Vampires: don't have much of a plot yet except for a female vampire working with the main coven leaders to assassinate a rogue vampire who has deliberately disobeyed their laws. she takes the job even though she does not agree that the rogue has done anything seriously wrong.

I am open to other plots as long as it is not high school/college based or real world based. these two have just been really eating at me and I would like to get them going. PM if you're interested!

♥ I consider myself pretty literate, but I have not done much writing or role playing for a few years now
♥ I usually tend to right more than one paragraph per post, and will never post just one or two sentences
♥ I am obsessive over grammar for the most part, and I would prefer a partner who will take care in their posts, and make sure all their grammar is correct
♥ Not having capitals at the start of a new sentence is my pet peeve, please do not do this
♥ I prefer more mature role plays that may include cursing, gore, and sexual activity. With that in mind, I would rather like to have a partner at least 17 years old
♥ To avoid restrictions, I would be open to role playing in Google Docs
♥ I can only play female character, and prefer to role play with a partner playing a male
♥ Through I have tried to do otherwise, all my characters drift into the quiet, naïve, cliché girl roles. My characters often lack confidence, and always have trouble opening up and need comfort often. My characters also tend to sometimes act child-like, through I only play older parts
♥ Considering my characters are the always hiding in a book type, I prefer to have a partner who can play stronger leads and be the more dominant, confident character
♥ I do not usually like fandoms, as I do not follow a lot of them. I do sometimes take bits and pieces from some stories plots, to base around a role play idea

♥ I don't mind general mistakes at all, but I expect that not all your posts are riddled with mistakes, and that it looks like you put effort into your writing (I know you can't be perfect by any means!)
♥ I sometimes fall into writers block, so I need a partner who can challenge me as a writer, and help me to become more creative and think up new plot lines
♥ I would prefer that most of my partners posts are at least 1-2 paragraphs, hat way we always have something to work with
♥ Activity in our role play at least once every two days unless you are working, going away, ect. In this case, let me know please
♥ I defiantly want someone who will communicate with me, and give me suggestions! Also someone who always contributes to the plot line, and when things get dry just doesn't leave me to pick it up.
