I know. But Emma is an idiot for taking Henry and just leaving! Doesn't she know she can get in legal trouble for that?! (Of course she knows.) Unless of course...I wonder if Regina is affected by the curse too. I wonder if she could leave Storybrooke?

Yeah, that was a bad move on her part.

I figure Regina and Gold are unaffected besides the no magic thing like August and Emma... Henry doesn't count since he was never part of the FT world.

I know Henry is free to leave. And I know August and Emma are.
But I don't know about Gold and Regina... Those who were brought there by the curse were never supposed to exist in that world. They were put there 'thinking' they had always been there, when in reality, they just appeared. That's why Snow and Charming haven't aged. Time was froze. They weren't supposed to exist in the nonmagic world...THAT'S why none of them I think can leave Storybrooke. Based off of that, I don't think Regina and Gold could leave either.

While you're correct on all of that, it was made quite clear that time was completely frozen in SB until Emma decided to stay, however Mr. Gold and Regina have clearly shown to be exempt from the curse's affects. They were both very, very powerful to begin with and both remember everything from their true pasta so I wouldn't put it past either of them to be able to move freely... I like to think they just choose not to. But then again I don't know . You might be right about them being unable to leave.... Of course au don't think Batter is exempt... He is more than likely stuck with the others... Not sure...

Well I think they are affected by the curse. They just used loop holes to get around it. Like Rumplestilskin, he made a deal with the Queen. When the curse was made, he'd keep his memory. Regina.... I don't know what yet but SOMETHING was taken from her. The curse was supposed to "take away and destroy all everyone holds dear". It was never said she was exempt from that. I think Regina lost something too. The only reason she remembers, is because it was her curse. And of course the hatter - he WAS affected by the curse, but he remembered. That was his curse. So remembering I believe is neither here nor there.
Like you said of course...we could both be wrong (or right.) It's just a theory. I think too much. lol

her boyfriend/fiance was killed by her mother

. She was completely psychotic by the time she got the curse she has/had nothing to lose Mr. Gold already lost his son and Belle before the curse took affect though I am sure he's still trying to figure out how to get at least his son back

. The only one who hasn't lost anything due to the curse or just Regina in general is Regina... Sure she has an adopted son who hates her, and no one really respects her but...well she doesn't seem to care. The only reason she wants Henry is took keep Emma miserable (though I still say if she just left her alone in the beginning nothing would have changed, no one said Regina was bright <_<). And yes, everyone (including Regina and Gold) are affected by the curse (the no magic thing, the no immortality thing for Mr...;;A;; I just made myself sad at the thought that Rumple could die *cough*)
True about the Hatter though, remembering and being unable to do anything about it is definitely a curse... Rumpelstiltskin actually created the curse though, so he wouldn't allow himself to be affected I'm sure... But he was so far gone by the time the curse took affect he's almost in the same boat as 'Gina...except he isn't completely heartless...and... I forgot what I was saying

Actually... I really think Regina loves Henry. Yes, he's a ploy for her and she uses him, but I honestly think there is part of her that loves him.

That may just be because of her father, Henry. Also, Gold may have been blackmailing the world into getting his old world back when he gave Regina Emma's kid.
