I honestly don't torture my characters, but either make them cocky, sarcastic, naive, goofy, and stuff like that. It helps to give some personality quirk to make a comical situation.

Oh I just do awful things to mine. Awful things. I have no morals concerning my poor characters and will willingly throw them into the worst situations imaginable.

My characters are often the cause of trouble that may drive other characters insane or get them killed.

Okay. I'm so sorry guys. I feel like the RP has been delayed partially because of me, but I'm working on the second form and I plan to have it up tonight. Period. End of story. Sorry for the long wait!

Hey guys, so sorry about my sudden disappearance. That week that I said I was going to post was so going to happen, but then there was an accident and my car got totaled. Then one emergency after another continued to follow after that, so it's been very hectic. I have some good news though! I had a free day this weekend, so if you all are still up for it then we can finally get this thing rolling!

@Mist: I have some concerns with Kay, if I may. Is her being 30 years in an 8 year old girl's body due to her having been granted vast intelligence, or is it due to the amount of time she's spent in the Rift without aging? Also, her having a book to list the names of creatures in the Rift is fine, but I must warn that the creatures technically have no name, so she would be making up the names herself, and further more the creatures change constantly, which would make the use of naming even more complicated as no two creatures would look the same at all, and two or more creatures could even combine together. Lastly, I will have to admit that her ability is far to powerful. Even if it doesn't always happen when she touches people and even if she can't control it, it still feels too much like her ability would be god moding the other characters and thus would be unfair to them.

@Hawk: I'm very excited to see your characters in action, Hawk. I only have one concern with Carrie; just like with Kay's case, I fear that Carrie's ability may dance a little close to the line of god mode. I enjoy her ability very much, especially how it focuses more on her being mostly unnoticeable to achieve the affect of surprise. The only part that worried me about it was "which causes those around here to experience great alarm nearly every time she joins them." Her being difficult to notice up until the point when she speaks is absolutely fine, I only feel it should be up to the rper how their character should respond to it. Granted, I also still believe the the rpers should be aware of Carrie's ability and have their character respond accordingly, but what that response is would be entirely up to them... I often worry, does my train of thought make sense when I try to type it?

That was not at all my intention in writing that, and I edited that portion of the form to better reflect my intention, which was just as you stated, that people may elicit any of a variety of reactions. Thank you so much for your careful perusal! I also edited the Other sections slightly in each form, but ensured that the changes were reflected in the code. Thank you so much! And I'm glad to hear that you have a free day this weekend, even if you've been crazy busy over the last few weeks (I know I have... )
