I really just want to skip ahead and right down the ending, or a part of it anyways, now, then go back and fill in all the in-between stuff. I'm still far behind, but I'm plodding along.

Do it! If it will make you happy, or make it easier to write- then skip to the ending!

Edit:

Last day! Who's still in?
Hawke's IRL fiance, Lunaroki, suffered a massive stroke and died on Tuesday, March 31st, 2015.

Hawke needs to concentrate on other things, and is leaving MS permanently.

Thank you all for many fun years.

A couple weeks ago, I met my goal of finishing my book that I have been working on for a year. It's all written, and edited, and everything, and I'm so proud of it. Now I just need to get my family and some friends to read it so that they can catch mistakes that I didn't, and whatever.

Totally late, but I finished! It was surprising, but pleasant. Not to get the stupid book actually done.

Congratulations! Is this the first book you've finished?

I recommend having people who will give you an honest review. Not be cruel, but not just tell you it's great to make you feel good either.

I'm finally making progress on my actual story! I posted a small bit of it to DA last night and immediately had 3 strangers fave it! No comments of course... that's so frustrating.

I couldn't quite reach the 50k mark. The fact that I fell behind earlier in the month came back to bite me at the end I'm afraid. I was only about 5k off though, which was a hell of a lot better than the first time I ended having to drop out.

So it's like nearly time for this year's NaNoWriMo. Who's in?
Working on getting back into things after a forced hiatus.

I might be, but I can't think of what to write. If I can't think of a prompt I'll pull out the one story I started transcribing (from hand written notes to a saved word document) and work on that. God knows I need to get the damn thing transcribed so I can get to editing and revising.

I'm in. Not all that confident since I've been in a difficult writing slump the last couple months, but a writer's gotta write and I seem to do better with other people.

Nope, it's the 2nd one. But I published it and I'm writing a sequel right now.

I'm pretty excited about this year's NaNoWriMo. I don't know what project to work on, though. I have several works-in-progress I can use NaNo to motivate myself to finish, or I could start a brand new idea I just got. I don't think I have ever actually worked on something I hadn't written part of before NaNo, since my goal is usually to tack 50,000 words onto whatever I'm already working on or something similar.
