Username: Dragonslayer
Name: Theos Haildstron
Gender: Male
Age: 27
Race: Human
Class: Warrior
Appearance: He stands at 6,3. He has short blonde hair and icy blue eyes that seem to show a wall, hiding everything behind them. He wears leather greaves, chainmail over his arms, and a black leather cuirass that has the symbol of his family stitched onto the center, a red hawk who's wings spread out along the piece of armor. Over this he has a large cloak made from the fur of a bear. Theos always has a pair of long gloves that provide protection for his hands. For his weapon, he has a large longsword that he wears on his hip, with the handle being fashioned in the the likeness of a hawk.
Personality: Overall he is a nice guy, polite, and kind, but people don't seem to see this. This is due to his blunt, sometimes rude attitude. As stated before, he is very blunt and doesn't see the use of sugar-coating things as the people he is talking to will find out the full truth eventually. When talking to someone that he knows he can be seen speaking in his ever-monotone voice giving out sarcasm and light insults. Most of the things he says, he doesn't mean, he just likes to tease and give a hard time towards people he knows. Part of this is due to the fact that he tends to hold himself in higher regard than others, mainly because of a mixture of his noble blood, and the fact that he just thinks that he's better than most people. Even through all of this, he still means well and even though he teases non-stop, he genuinely cares for the people he knows and would do anything to keep them from harm. He is still a sort of, whatever happens, happens, sort of guy and still likes to go with the flow.
History: He was born to a noble family who ruled over a large lordship. His father would always bring him on hunts and would show him the ways of nobility. His mother would worry constantly over him causing trouble or embarrassing her in front of guests. When he was 10 a war started, his father fought against several of the neighboring lords. He was too young to actually fight and so he stayed home while his father fought. His father would always visit him every so often. Eventually his father stopped visiting and he was forced away from the Castle in which he had always lived. He spent the rest of his childhood and teenage years living with the family of one of his fathers personal guards. When he finally grew to be old enough, he learned to fight. Through out the years he fought as a mercenary, a guard, an explorer, and a soldier.
Alignment(Good? Bad? Neutral?): Chaotic Neutral
Crush: None
Lover: None
Other: He has a pet hawk named Dagger. The hawk is as close to a best friend as Theos has ever had. He uses it to message people he knows and to help scout out an area.

Also, I hope you don't mind if I make a dragon character. I was thinking that no, she wouldn't necessarily talk, but she would be intelligent enough to understand the two-legged races and would sort of act as a friend to the elven race. If you don't want her, that's fine. *shrugs* I just like dragons. She's wild, but if someone wanted, she could kind of be like their sort of companion, if you kind of get what I'm saying. She could be one that is sort of loyal to that individual(s) and sort of do them favors, like carrying messages back and forth or even offering them rides when in absolute need.

Name: Arölin Tanlitheil
Spoiler
Gender: Male
Age: 25
Race: Elf
Class: Archer (Though he does carry a set of white knives in case of emergency)
Appearance: Arölin has basically the same generic elvish look as any other of his race. He is tall and lean, somewhat muscular but built mostly for speed and agility, built for running through the forest at a fast pace for a long time. Arölin's face is long and lean, yet elegant and gracefully-shaped. His eyes are a foresty mixture of green and amber that blend together into a color that can't quite be described but is still beautiful to look at. His skin is light and smooth, naturally unblemished, and a faint foresty scent seems to hang around him. Arölin's ears are, of course, pointed, like an elf's, not too big and also not too small, sticking out just enough. His long, dark, well-kept hair is kept back out of his face with one or two elvish braids and the rest is held back by his ears or in other, mysterious, rather unexplainable ways. In general, this elf's build allows him to be swift and agile while well-balanced and graceful in all his movements.
When armored, his armor is lightweight, yet still strong and very protective while allowing him almost maximum mobility for when he has to fight. It is comprised of a leather layer for underneath the plates of shining silvery steel that go over top to mainly protect his torso and shoulders, and maybe some of his upper legs. Gauntlets made of the same metal material protect his lower arm to his wrist. When not wearing his armor, he'll be dressed in fairly comfortable clothing for travel, such as leather pants, shoes, and a shirt, often accompanied by a fine elvish cloak if he actually is traveling. Finally, almost always, he has his quiver of arrows and his bow. If he does not have them directly with them, they surely are not far.
Personality: Arölin is quiet and mysterious with cat-like grace. He allows his actions to speak for him much of the time, though he will speak when he feels it is necessary. He keeps his face relatively emotionless much of the time, but that does not mean he doesn't show emotion, for he does. Arölin is one to be trusted, as mysterious as he can sometimes come out to be. He keeps a level head in most situations and rarely shows great emotion, for he has seen quite a bit for one his age. Deep within him, there is a certain sense of pride, and it is seen sometimes in the way he holds himself or the way he moves or speaks.
While he enjoys the peace and calm, and enjoys the beauty of the world, he knows that times call for a more fast-paced life. When need be, Arölin is quite the quick thinker, and he also has fast reflexes, which do help him out in a number of situations. He doesn't have that many friends, but those he does befriend are lucky, for he is loyal and trustworthy, willing to do practically anything to protect them from harm in any way he might be able to. Other races he will at least tolerate. It mostly comes down to the individual, and whether or not he likes them, which he will decide after spending some time with them.
History: Like many elves, Arölin was born in Teban to a rather high-class noble family. He was raised in the forest, among the trees, taught to appreciate the world around him and how it could help him accomplish tasks, such as tracking things or hiding. His father held a high-rank in the army and was often busy commanding or fighting battles against Lenphus' demons, one of the many fighting to keep Teban safe. His mother was a well-respected elven soldier as well, so in the time she wasn't raising Arölin, she was often off fighting as well. With soldiers for parents, Arölin learned quickly how to use a large variety of weapons, becoming quite skilled in the use of different blades like swords and knives and of the bow and arrows. Finding that he was most adept with the bow and arrows, he chose that to be his main weapon, with two white knives to be his back up weapon if his bow broke or he ran out of arrows.
When he was 13, in one of the battles at the borders of Teban against a demon pack that had tried to get in, his mother was slain. His father, never having been too close to begin with, distanced himself more, though he still watched over and raised Arölin. Now without a mother and with a father who tended to distance himself, Arölin would spend much of his free time off practicing his archery or his knife skills. When he was old enough, he was trained by another elf to be an archer in the army. He lasted a few years, serving under his father's command, but eventually, he decided he could not stay. His skills could be of more help on the outside. So, with a last good wish from his father, he set off on his own.
Arölin traveled across the land, fighting demons as he went and finding his own path of life. From time to time, he would come close to Teban, once even as far as to the borders, but certain memories kept him from going back, so he would move on. This is how he's lived, wandering through the shadows as a lone elven warrior, taking out demons as he went and constantly fighting Lenphus. On his travels, he gained a few treasured items he keeps with him, like a bow made for him by other elves and a horse.

Username: Silvereil
Name: Arreya
Spoiler
Gender: Female
Age: 153 (maybe a young adult?)
Race: Dragon
Class: Er, none?
Appearance: Arreya, or Arilae, as the elves more commonly call her, is a beautiful frost-hued female dragon. She may be smaller than most dragons, built for speed and agility, but she is still rather large in the eyes of two-leggeds such as elves or men. From nose tip to tail, she is about two African elephants long and two African elephants high when she stands straight on all four legs. Her wings are shaped in such a way that allows her to make sharp turns and climb or dive at a moment's notice, allowing for he high agility. Back fins and her tail also help her in these maneuvers. It is easy enough to tell from the shape of her head and body that she is streamlined for fast flight with low wind resistance.
Arreya's hide is, as previously stated, a mixture of frosty, wintery hues. Her scale colors range from beautiful snowy white to a dark winter night blue, with varying hues of white and blue in between. This helps her blend in sometimes with the sky, her lighter colored belly and wing undersides making it a tad more difficult to see her if she flies high enough in the sky. Two, long, ivory-colored horns protrude from her skull at the top back of her head with fin-like growths from the back of her jaw, giving Arreya a very elegant dragon look.
Personality: Having been raised by elves, this dragon shares many elven personality qualities, such as her deep wisdom and her mysterious yet sort of gentle elvish nature. The way she communicates is through different, fluid body motions. The way she shifts into different positions or blinks her eyes or an eye is her way of communication, which, when one comes to know her long enough or hang around her long enough, is understood easily enough. Arreya's thoughts are not necessarily in words, but more of an ancient dragon language that more consists of feelings and emotions. Arreya is certainly intelligent enough to understand what those who use speech say to her, like what the elves tell her or what the humans tell her. This dragon has much pride, and is a master of herself. Though she is always willing to help or protect an elf or any other two-legged who has gained her favor, she makes it very clear that she is no one's "pet".
History: Starting out as a polished frosty blue stone in Ferdin Forest, no one is exactly sure of how Arilae ended up in Teban. However, the elves remember it as it happened, how one day, a small blue dragon hatchling was found wandering in Teban, hungry, alone, and scared. An elf took pity on her at last and took her in, feeding and nurturing her. This was the elf that christened her Arilae, a Tebanian elvish term that roughly translates to "blue beauty". There were a number of elves that played a part in this dragoness's upbringing, resulting in her keen awareness of the life and world around her, her gentle nature, and her slight bias toward the elven race. Since she mysteriously ended up in Teban, she has called this foresty area her home and is quite happy with where she is.

Awesome! Can't wait to start.
Oh, and hullo, Marth... Assuming you're talking to me. Lol. Can't remember. Have I "met" you before? (as in RPed, maybe seen around the site, etc.)
EDIT: Forgot to say, but I figured I'd mention it even if people kind of got it already: Arreya's preference for elves does tend to affect the relationship she has with other species, ranging from a little to a lot. For example, since elves are a little rocky with humans, she's a little rocky with humans. That kind of thing.

Re: Tyleran OOC
Oh, I also remember you, Silvereil. I was formally dinogirl71- I believe I was in an rp of yours called 'The Lost Elements'?
Anyways, on the topic of the dragons.
So, of course I'd need Silver's approval on doing this to her character because it's hers, but
I was actually thinking people COULD make dragon characters for this roleplay. But they wouldn't be dragon-dragons
They'd be called Guardian Dragons, pretty much dragons born with the body of a dragon but the mind of, say, a spirit or something. They would be the only dragons that are friends or don't normally pose a threat to people, but are significantly smaller than regular dragons and don't have as strong of powers since they aren't entirely dragon.
Unfortunately, I'm gonna have to have the Guardian Dragon spots limited so this roleplay doesn't overflow with em because they aren't the main focus of the roleplay, and they're also rare. But I have found a way to implement them into a plot to make sure that they're important, just as the Champions and the Red Order are. If anything, they'd make the story even more interesting!
The dragons would probably be well-known, but divided/separated. There would be 1 dragon for each element- Silver has already claimed ice.
But there would also be fire, sky, earth, necromancy, and life. Much like mages, except more dragon-y. I don't want people who want to be a dragon to be left out though, so I'm a bit tentative. Also, if this were to happen, anyone playing a dragon would probably have the planned story of the rp spoiled a bit so they should probably be ok with that.
But yeah, any thoughts?

In this coastal town, that they forgot to close down
