Frozen Female Hatchling
Name: unnamed
Species: Daydreamer Amphithere
Birthday: Tuesday, September 30, 2014
Owner: Rosehill
Element: Void
These serpentine hatchlings are awake during the day but spend most of their time lost in thought with dreamy expressions on their faces. They enjoy curling up in a patch of warm sunlight and letting the day drift by, but they can be roused to play if their magi is patient and tempts them with a feather on a stick. While not the most active of hatchlings, their pleasant nature and easy taming make them a good choice of creature for magi who aren't very active themselves.
Unlike their close cousins the dreamcatchers, daydreamers don't affect dreams either good or bad, but they do bring with them a sense of peace and serenity. While helpful for magi who are often anxious, daydreamers are no longer allowed in classrooms as they tend to send the students to sleep even faster than normal. Daydreamers have no natural enemies, partly due to their friendly nature and partly because they can make any creature that wants to hunt them too complacent to find the energy.
