Equilibrus narasad hatchlings are driven from the moment of birth to seek out a location they can use as their territory. They are drawn to places heavy with wild or unfocused magic, and a magi who is bonded to a narasad will have a hard time keeping track of it as it travels. Hatchlings lack the steady draw of magic that adults do, and are easy prey for other creatures in the wild. Magis often must help the hatchling as it travels, and their magi's help is often what convinces the narasad to accept their magi as belonging in the territory they choose. Equilibrus narasad hatchlings seek to bring control to wild magic or places of magical decay, and are happy to team up with other narasads to do it.
Equilibrus narasad horses are unusual, and not found often in the wild. Some explanations say they are a narasad who never found a territory with acceptable power to focus their magic. Either way, their appearance and magic is unique. Equilibrus narasad horses will bring balance to the magic of a region, purifying unnatural magical decay or even reducing magic if it is focused in any region. The influence of an equilibrus narasad is always beneficial, and can help return the natural world to order after even the worst of disasters. Once they have balanced a region, they will travel on and find another to help cleanse. Perhaps because of this, equilibrus narasad horses are by far the most peaceful and docile of the known narasad varieties. The only time they will react in anger is if someone attempts to use dark or harmful magic in a location they are currently claiming. The power they use to defend themselves and their territory is strange, however, and will not cause harm, only a strange mental nonchalance and almost drugged happiness that will fade once the person leaves their territory.
