What happens when you quit MagiStream --- Short Story

The Dark Raiju looked up hopefully as the door creaked, his tongue lolling out of his mouth playfully. A noise after the creak was enough to make the dog stand up and bark.

Nothing.

Whimpering, the Raiju laid back down and stared at the door again - he'd been doing this for what seemed like forever. Ever since his Magi left, the Keep had been dusty and untended. The other creatures had all abandoned it, but the Raiju stayed in hopes of his loved owner coming back. He hadn't eaten anything in weeks, in fear that his Magi would return while he was gone. Instead, he would chew at his fur and the furniture around the house to calm his growling stomach. A tear slid down the Dark Raiju's nose, dripping onto the wooden floor silently.

Finally, the Raiju closed his eyes, falling into a deep sleep from which he would never wake up from. Memories of him and his owner playing frolicked around in his mind as the world darkened.

No-one ever noticed the Raiju as it lay on the ground, body unmoving, still waiting for his owner to return home...

This made me feel... really bad.

I like how you put lots of detail about the Raiju; that literally made my heart sink.

Aw, I didn't mean to make you feel bad, hun.

I, ah, there's just been a lot of users quitting lately, and I can't help to think about the creatures in their Keep. I know they're just pixels and all, but they inspired me to write this story.

Aaww!!! I have a bunch of dogs that I own and as soon as I finished reading this, I almost cried thinking about my dogs and then I realized that my creatures here too will also need some loving!

Never gonna leave!!!!

I am NEVER gonna leave, I have thought about it, but thought it a horrible idea. I love my snugglykinz! Meaning my creatures, oh, I have to go name the unnamed ones!
