What person do you like to write in?
I'm sorry if this is already been posted i looked and couldn't find it but... So a lot of people have different opinions on what person they like to write in. I like first person, but I justed wanted to know you alls opinions. I wasn't sure if I should post this here or in hall of speakers so if its wrong you can move it or lock it.
I like first person because you get to tell what the person is feeling and thinking through out the whole story - though its a bit difficult when the charecters are separated unless you switch point of views.

Re: What person do you like to write in?
me likes 3 person
~Your a wizard Harry~ Rubius Hagrid
~Baby you were born this way~ Lady GaGa
Beautiful siggy set by the amazing Insanity
Re: What person do you like to write in?
I also like to write in first person. It's much easier really. It's like an everyday decribing an event to your friend. I like to add an twist, though. I switch points of view each chapter, with exceptions of course! In first person, you can describe what the character is thinking, feeling, etc. In our book (moondragon), Time's Burnt Stone, you can see what I mean.
Amazing Art by Hanako!
Thanks SO much, Merkwerkee, for the tienko gift!

I really cant remember the last time I wrote in 1st person, I just dont like doing it because I prefer being able to get inside the minds of all my characters, so I usually go with 3rd.
I wrote a fanfic in 2nd once, first time I had ever tried that way and I managed to make people cry so I was happy with that

That must have been a sad 2nd person story. I do agree that its nice to get inside the heads of all the charecters, that is a plus side to 3rd person.

I generally prefer third person omniscient. With multiple characters.
Although my MS story is third person omniscient for just one character. x)

Re: What person do you like to write in?
..I suppose Overall I'm open to any writing method to experiment on. I usually like to use first person best, because I feel I can connect better with said character on feelings and opinions. Kinda gets me in their shoes. What I really prefer to do is have one character set in a first person setting but if that character is absent or the situation moves to another, go into a deep connection in a third person control.. meh, kinda hard to explain. >_<
Re: What person do you like to write in?
I like first person too. I think it is weird or difficult to write something else !!(:
