Whoo, finally wrote another chapter! Now that I' sorta have a vague plan, and everyone's been assigned a weapon.

Chapter 3

Cottage

Switzerland’s face held its usual look, the one that reminded every other nation that everything they did was mildly displeasing, as he rooted through his pack. Finally he pulled out a small thing and threw it onto the table. It bounced awkwardly a few times from the force and then settled for rolling in a lopsided circle.

“An ice pick,” he growled. What he wouldn’t do for one of his guns at this moment—but alas, Canada had the foresight to remove all the guns he kept on his body. Otherwise this farce wouldn’t have happened. A nice clean shot would have ended it all before it began, neutrality be damned.

Of course, neutrality was going to be nearly impossible to maintain from this point on. Hell if he was going to let someone shoot at him first before retaliating just so he could stay neutral.

“Brother?”

“Hm?” Liechtenstein looked smaller and more fragile than ever from his perspective. The wrongness of it all hit him then. All the nations were out to kill each other now. And that included his sister. If any bastard dared to try hurting her…

“Brother…” Liechtenstein came up behind him and gently laid her hand on his shoulder. She always knew, somehow, when he was agitated, even on the occasions when he tried to hide it. And she knew how to calm him. “Don’t be upset. We’ll come out of this all right, won’t we?”

Switzerland knew better than to hope for that, but kept his mouth shut. Liechtenstein had always had Switzerland or Austria to look after her. She didn’t know the terrible things nations did to each other. She’d heard of them, sure, but she’d never experienced any of it herself.

And he would keep it that way, as long as he had any say in the matter.

Switzerland swallowed, and finally nodded in response to his sister’s words. “Say, what did you get?”

Liechtenstein pointed to where she had tossed her backpack to the ground. Switzerland glanced in the direction she pointed—

—and simply gaped. There on the ground was a huge gun—an anti-material rifle. It was one of the ones he’d seen America waving around once—an M82, if he remembered correctly.

“How the hell did that fit into the backpack?”

Liechtenstein shrugged slightly. “Magic?”

“A POT LID?!” England cried, not caring that anyone could probably hear him. “Bloody hell—augh!“

His righteous rage was cut short when a small body suddenly barreled into him. He lashed out reflexively at his attacker. His hand, still holding the pot lid, connected with the other nation, sending it sprawling on the ground. He took a closer look at the nation. Small, wearing a blue and white sailor outfit and a little blue sailor cap to go with it. “Sealand?”

“Jerk England! What was that for?”

“You attacked me, you little git!”

“You’re my big brother! You’re supposed to protect me!”

England glared at the annoying little micronation, doing his best to look menacing while holding a pot lid. Oh, if France were here. The jokes he would have at England’s expense about pot lids and bad English cookery.

“Why, Angleterre! And little Sealand too! I hope you are enjoying yourselves, mes amis?”

England gritted his teeth. Speak of the devil. His day was just going to get worse from here. Any day with France tended to, even if he’d already hit rock bottom. That frog simply provided a pick to help him dig further.

Headquarters

Taiwan watched from behind the bush as Ukraine emerged from the building. Tears were streaming from the Eastern European nation’s eyes.

“Psst,” Taiwan hissed, but froze as Ukraine turned to look for the source of the noise. She knew far too little about the other nation, aside from the fact that she was infamous for her huge—tracts of land (gods, those male nations were so immature), and that she was Russia’s older sister. And—somewhere in the back of Taiwan’s mind presented this bit—she’d been pretty tight with Canada.

Related to that kind of creepy guy and the perpetrator of this game—two strikes against Ukraine. Vietnam would kill her if she recruited someone untrustworthy. Taiwan stayed very still, and soon Ukraine turned back to walk towards the woods, probably believing she’d imagined the noise.

Before she went into the trees, though, she stopped to rummage through her backpack. Taiwan stifled a gasp when she saw what weapon Ukraine pulled out.

Ukraine had a freaking flamethrower.

Something tells Star that UK will scare Russia, if that's even possible.

I’ve never read a Hetalia fanfic before, mostly because most of it on fanfiction.net seems to be yaoi.
But, man! This is awesome but so horrible but such a good/cruel idea.
This has to be Russia’s idea of a perfect scenario, and excuse to kill loads of others off. Before I clicked on chapter 3 I suspected England was likely to get killed off quick, and the fact that he’s been given a pot lid of all random weapons (would have been funny if it was a rolling pin), makes me think my country isn’t gonna be around all that much longer. I imagine America might though as he’s so strong.
Clicks would be loved :3
