should an shark be killed for attacking a person? Should a bird be slaughtered for taking a worm? A cat for killing a mouse? Aren't we also beasts? We are just at the top of the food chain, past meer survival we work towards the future. Isn't it natural selection to kill the lesser, even if we have the power to not isn't it wrong to raise a cow to be killed and then not eat it, robbing it of it's meaning in life?

Thousands of sharks are killed - the only human they have seen was their killer. Millions of birds are kept in tiny cages - they have never seen a worm or a tree. Hundreds of cats are kicked and abused - they strayed and hunted on the wrong yard. We are the worst of all animals. Too many are treating other animals as lesser beings - hunting them, torturing them for fun. They engulf the nature - mine and your future - in darkness by destroying it bit by bit.
Its a shame that we raise an animal only to kill it. But its a crime HOW those animals are raised.

I could post dozens of links to proof the latter. I don't do it because i had to vomit after seeing some of them.

I agree with that compleatly. Humans are the bad ones. We are the ones who are killing the earth and not caring. And before some of us get the sense to understand it will be far to late.

I agree with Moon/CaroHeart. It's true, we think our cat, Jet, was abused. And honestly right now, if we live in a city or something near civilization where we can grow food, we should, not kill animals when we have something right there.

I mean I hate it like when they kill a deer just to mount it's head on their wall, or to kill a shark for no reason, or to kill whale for any reason (whales are just to smart), and to kill the thylacine off just beause they thought it was killing it's livestock, (twas actully dogs), or to kill off the Great Auk for the feather trade.

What happened to the Auks is horrific. The last three where a breeding pair and a single egg, three men discoverd them, two of them killed the parents, the the third guy smashed the egg with his boot.

Thylacines where extremly misunderstood. I don't want to say their story, but I could if I had too.

Kids at school, they will tell the entire class about when they killed a chipmunk and how it's blood flew everywhere and i'm thinking "SHUT UP!" My teacher twitched since she is a total animal rights person like me. I might be a bit too much into it. :/
