A cool breeze ruffles by, blowing the edge of your cloak with it. You pull the cloak tighter around you, hoping to block out the cold. Its night time, and the breeze is chilling. You hear the soft howling of a dire wolf in the distance and shiver. A soft, ghostly fog floats across the path. You're quite far from town now. Why would someone ever put a shop way out here? Finally, in the distance, you spot what you are looking for. When you make your way up the steps and towards the door of the shop, a rewin growls at you, but doesn't move. Shivering again, you push the large wooden door open and quickly step inside. Gasping, you stare at the shop around you.

Welcome to Double Dragon's Bookshop! Myth and I both share a love of writing, so we decided to open a shop that's a bit different from one's you usually see. A shop for writing! Myth and I will both provide you with examples of our writing, and the different things we'll write for you. Ranging from poems to shop introductions. This first post centers around my writing, and the next one will tell you everything you need to know about myth's. Please enjoy!

Open/Closed

Passing on from Moondragon's section you come to the other half of the DDB. You look around expecting another girl to appear no one does. A voice startles you and you spin-
on your heel to see a small chibi like dragon on a ladder putting
books into a bookcase. She looks at you curiously and you notice
she's wearing a thin pair of glasses. Taking them off she rubs them
trying to get dust off them and sighs giving up. "Welcome to Myth's
section of the D.D.B, i welcome you." Myth says Swishing her gold
tail thoughtfully, "Obviously your here to buy a book or poem right?"
You sort of half nod, "Just looking at the moment then?" She asks.
Without waiting for a reply she jumps off the ladder and flys into
the back room. You wait thinking the dragon will fly out again but
she doesn't appear, instead a girl comes out with brown hair cut
short into a boyish hairstyle, "Hrr, sorry about that just thought it
would be better if i talked to you in my human form yes?" Myth says.
"Now what would you like?" She asks dusting off the plain red shirt
she's wearing as a book poofs dust into her face. "The forms are here." Mythical points to a pile of forms, "Theres one for ording poems, one for ordering books and one for ording Roleplay starters." She adds. You hesitate then nodding looking through them.

Here are my rules (they are similar to Moons)

1) Please be patient even we get writers block
2) Please be kind
3) First come first serve no more slots? You wait. Simple.
4) I Will hold spaces for you but it will cost (prices see below)
5) Books will be 5 pages MAX and by pages i mean microsoft word pages don't worry they'll be a MIN of 1 pg.
6) Please note i suck at haikus (i used to be good but then i just y'know..lost it) examples will be seen below note alot of my poems are about dragons *goes to dig year/grade 6 literacy book out*
7) RP starters will be at least 1 to 2 pargraphs i do a 5 paragraph max here too.

Pandora and the Golden box©:

A long, long time ago in a faraway land lived a beautiful Princess named Pandora. She was the daughter of King Promethean. One day Pandora was walking through the royal orchard picking cherry blossoms when she met a Prince. His name was Prometheus. Prometheus was kind and charming and the two soon fell in love. On the 3rd day of the prince and princess knowing that they loved each other Pandora confessed to the king how she felt, “Oh Father I really love him, may I marry him?” She asked. “NO!” The king roared angrily. He Hated the Prince’s father - Kleos - Kleos meant glory in the Greek language and Kleos took this very seriously, Kleos was mean and stubborn and quite self-centred. “Isn’t there something I could do to persuade you?” asked Pandora pleadingly. “No there is not!” The king snapped, his left eyebrow twitching with rage. Pandora thought for a moment, “What if I got you the golden box of Croleen?” she asked, the king looked momentarily shocked, “Humph fine, so be it. Bring me the box and you may marry him.” Pandora smirked and set off on her quest for the magical golden box. As she trudged up a mountain she came across Zeus who had lost his jar of lightning bolts. Pandora found them and gave them back to him, “Oh Thank-you! Here take these to aid you in your Quest.” He handing her the golden sword of light, the flaxen shield of protection and the winged boots of flight. She put the boots on and flew to Crolleean island. The Golden box stood on a raised plinth in the middle of the island, “Well that was easy.” she chuckled unknowing that a pair of blood red eyes were watching her from the bushes. They belonged to the Croley - He had six legs, four bat like wings, seventeen claws on each foot, three heads and five long serpentine whip-like tails. He was blue, black and green like a big ugly bruise. As Pandora reached out to take the box The Croly jumped out of the bushes. She screamed and took a step back, tripped over a half covered in sand boulder and landed on her face. The Croly reared up to stroke but Dora was too quick, she rolled out of the way, grabbed her shield and jumped to her feet. The Croly laid two of its three heads flat against its body looking at the sky then the remaining one slithered upwards and took position like a Cobra about to strike. It then spat a giant glob of poison at her, luckily she had already lifted her shield to deflect it. Good job too as it was so powerful it slightly melted the edges of her shield. The middle head lay down against the body to re-charge. The other two writhed upwards, they continued facing upwards and spat venom into the sky where it exploded making it rain poison. As some of the venom hit the trees they sizzled and drooped. Pandora was glad she had dived next to a boulder and raised her shield above her head. The beast became furious and all three heads rose up to spit toxic. They where in such a position that it gave Dora the opportunity she needed. Pandora charged forward and sliced all heads cleanly off in one quick agile slice! Pandora wiped green blood off herself and grinned, “The Box Is Mine!” she cried out in triumph and joy. When she got back to the palace she presented the box to the king, “Father I have brought you the box” she said. Promethean studied the box carefully to be sure it wasn’t a fake. After a while he nodded, “You brought me the box I keep my word, you may marry the prince.” Pandora jumped for joy. Dora and the prince where married, but the king was sneaky. One day he fooled the prince into going to mist forest to slay a dragon. Of course there was no dragon, the king had Pandora all to himself! He sealed her away for eternity inside a mystical box. All because she married prince Prometheus!

In the mountains far away,
there was a cave,
in this one day,
A dragon came out to play.

With firey eyes,
of blood red,
And sharp horns perched upon his head.

He had wings,
Leathery and black,
placed upon his scaley back.

With a roar like thunder,
and a tail with a spike,
he roared and roared with all his might.

Scales like green crystal,
and claws like steel,
Searching for his next meal.

At sunrise at the mouth of the cave he lay,
Watching as night became day.

Then he spied,
a intruder he despised,
a man he saw with those eaglie-like eyes.

He scrambled,
and clambered,
Across the rocks,
sending them flying like they were only toy blocks.

Spraying fiery embers and flames in his wake,
clouds of ashes,
The man was scared away,
He had learnt not to come back again for this day.

Smoke rings the Dragon blew,
Light as a cloud,
He sat on a rock looking very proud!

Your a hatchling, you are playing with your hatchling friends (other rolers) when a storm rolls in a human riding a black red eyed dragon appears on the horizen, Burning everything he sees. A few dragons are killed and all the hatchling are rounded up put in chains and taken to a labratory. Since you could talk and fly they have been doing experiments on you. One day a golden dragon by the name of Aurora (me) escapes alarms are going off the place is chaos! She escaped to the forest not far off and is hiding from the scientists and waiting for you. Will you be the next one to escape?

A group of people ran down the street, torrential rain pounded the ground, bouncing up again and splattering peoples faces. A howl pierced the air, standing on the hillside..a pure white wolf. Strangely on its back was a small fluffy, yellow, duck. "AWW COME ON AURORA!" Whined the duck, "Stoppit will ya? You could attract their att-" She broke off midsentance, a shadow flashed through the trees, a black panther stood there every hair on its evil body was standing up. A unreally large crow lands behind it, it hisses its tounge flicks out, lizard like.

Living in a big city your hunted down, by authorities, scientists and other people for evil uses though your worst enemy of all are the shadowirans, a group of evil beasts, twisted and cruel. Theres many problems, for one thing for the younger people how are you supposed to survive school?? Changing at night or when your emotianal or some other mega reaction. The shifters of the city all meet up every night in a clearing in the deep forest outside the city.

It all started with those stupid human storys. 'Stay away from dragons they eat humans, hoard gold, take maidens and fight knights.' thats what humans say anyway. We dragons don't always hoard gold rarely infact, take the elder of greenmeadow village caves for example he hoards tapestrys. Us eating humans isn't always untrue i have known a few dragons to have eaten humans but they have told me they are very chewy. Knights where fought when lies about maidens being taken captive were made. Usually when a farmer or other unwealthy human becomes moneyless they offer young maidens to us outside our caves. Tis most annoying. They usually exaggerate their beauty too so the wealthy lords rescue them so they have to mate them. Ugh.It all started with those stupid human storys. Now war has broken out with those humans and their trying to gain control over us. US the mighty dragons! Theres this princess you see Anastasia as she is known. Her singing enchants dragons, we are drawn to her when she sings a certain song. Whilst we approach she carries on singing chained collars are placed around our regal necks. I've seen many a friends eyes glaze over and become cloudy. they forget all their friends and foes and live to serve her. Ohh we need to find a safe haven. A place where singing cannot be heard. A place where we can rebuild our empire and fight back.
