Tips and Tricks

Achievements:

Dedicated
Spoiler
Multiplier days are your best bet, but you still have to be very active to get this one. Slime Slugma is the easiest 20k egg to get, so on multiplier days, fill your party with those and click a lot to get them hatched (Note: clicking a lot means doing at least 10k interactions, preferrably more, in a single day). Make sure to keep the hatched pokemon or your work will be in vain. Even without multiplier days, 10k+ interactions should manage to get a 20k egg hatched, but on multiplier days, it will be far easier. Hatch the eggs on the same day you got them, if you leave them over night, they might not count depending on when exactly you got them.
Darwinist
Spoiler
Get 63 Caterpies, Wurmples and/or Weedles and level them to level 10. Once you got them all at that level (which might take a few days depending on how active you are) evolve each of them twice and you've got your achievement. Don't evolve any of them until you've got them all leveled up to make sure you evolve them all on the same day.
Creationist
Spoiler
Now it's starting to get difficult, because this one needs some planning ahead. A multiplier day might or might not make this easier, but if you go for one, you'll need to stock up on flame orbs (as many as possible). They help on regular days, too, but they'll be necessary on multiplier days. You should aim for at least 20k interactions on a day like that and you should start as early on the day as possible (which means ideally you choose a Saturday or Sunday that you don't have anything else to do on).

If you do it on a regular day, go for all the low maturity eggs; Magikarp if you can get it, the 2.5k and 3.8k eggs if you can't. When in doubt, just take an egg you know isn't on the high-end of the maturiy curve, it's more important to get another egg than make sure it's one with low maturity. The more clicks you have, the less important the maturity becomes. Be active and make sure to hatch every egg as soon as you can, don't wait for others to be ready. Take advantage of the Party Options drop-down menu, it saves time.

On a multiplier day, you won't need as many interactions as on a regular day, but you'll have to make sure you don't waste time through the one-hour rule. That's why you should have flame orbs at hand. Other than that, remember a few rules: If you take eggs from your own daycare, don't take them right after they got laid. Wait for around the full-hour mark to take them, and if you've got Heart Sweets, take two. Any egg in the shelter between around xx:10 and xx:27 will be at least an hour old, so at those times, you can just take them. Any eggs you take from the shelter at any other time might or might not have to wait until the next xx:12 mark to be able to hatch (which costs valuable time), so if you have to take eggs between around xx:27 and the full hour mark, take something that is probably in there in masses; Kanto starters and Pineco are good choices; don't take Eevee, they get bred a lot but tend to run out on multiplier days.
A last trick I would recommend; the lab will recognize that you have a free slot in your party even if you didn't at the time you opened the lab; that means you can open the lab in a separate window (I used a separate browser even when I went for Creationist to keep things tidy), then wait one hour and return to the window. Click the eggs in there and if any are still in the lab and you've got a free slot, you'll get the egg. By hitting the back button on your browser, you can even try the eggs you haven't tried yet again if you still have open slots. A lot of the eggs will have been taken after that hour, but some usually remain. So you can get around the one hour rule by making sure to get one hour old eggs that way if all things fail. Open several tabs of the lab every ten minutes or so and you'll have a lot of eggs to choose from that way.
Defeating NPCs

Cypress #1
Spoiler
Note: you'll read the word "steel" a lot now ^_^
In general, any pure steel pokemon will resist most of the regular attacks Cypress #1's pokemon use. It can also hit Vanilluxe, Gigalith and Kyurem super-effective.

Any Dark type that isn't poison or fight as a secondary type should be able to knock out Reuniclus without problems, especially if you use a pure dark type that can use strong attacks. Bug/steel will also work nicely but dark (or especially dark/steel) should be better.

Watchog might be your biggest problem (I know it is for me), because it is surprisingly strong and fast, and as a normal type, it's difficult to both resist its attacks and hit it super-effective at the same time (neither rock nor steel can use fight gems). Your best bet is to use a strong pure fight pokemon (Conkeldurr has a high defense so it's probably the best choice, but Machamp or Hariyama should work) or a Rock/Steel pokemon that will only suffer 1/4 damage from Watchog and will wear it down. Note that Cypress' Watchhog hits very hard. It will probably be able to take down a Lucario in two or three hits, which means even though Lucario is the only non-legendary pokemon that both resists its attacks and can attack super-effective, I wouldn't be too sure it can beat Watchog one-on-one.

Use a fire type to handle Klinklang; ground or fight work too, but they won't resist its attacks, unless you combine them with something that resists steel attacks (steel or water would be the most likely here, especially since water/ground types tend to be bulky and able to take a lot of damage). If possible, use something that attacks on the special side on the spectrum, Klinklang is far weaker there.

Gigalith has a huge attack stat, so you should try to handle it using something that resists its attacks; while grass and water are super-effective against it, they don't resist its attacks, so they are subpar choices. I recommend using either ground or steel, although fight will work. Ground/steel (Excadrill or Steelix) and fight/steel (Lucario) will only take 1/4 damage, so they can handle it easily; if you want to go for something else, use something that hits the special side, not the physical one. As with Klinklang, it takes more damage there. A water/ground pokemon would probably do well (I recommend Swampert or Gastrodon, both can hit well on the special side). A pure ground or steel pokemon will also do well, since it can use strong attacks to ko Gigalith quicker.

Vanilluxe is pure ice, so you'll want something that resists ice beam. Fire or steel should easily be able to handle it, any water/rock pokemon will also do. Personally I like to use Crystal Steelix (it's ice/steel, so it only takes 1/4 damage and can hit super-effective using steel attacks), but Empoleon would work just as well and also works nicely against Gigalith.

For Kyurem, anything that hits it with rock, steel or fight should be able to take it down, as long as it doesn't take super-effective damage from ice or dragon. It should be the smallest problem in the whole team since it has two types and therefore only has weak attacks. Use a steel pokemon if you want to resist its attacks, but a pure rock or fighting type will do.

Heatran is fire/steel and should be able to handle Vanilluxe, Kyurem, Klinklang and possibly Gigalith if it manages to get a attack boost in or hits it on the switch; if you have a ghost, bug or dark gem, it can also work against Reuniclus (just remember that it's a bad idea to depend on a single pokemon to take out three to five of the opponent's team, you usually won't be able to take the damage you get in the process).

Tl;dr version: use steel pokemon :P

This post is for everything we know about pokehunts

Looks great, and makes everything really easy to find. Currently, I don't have any suggestions.
