Childeren running around,
Adults catching up.
Presents abound,
And it's almost time to sup.

"What is it?" the kiddies cry
In the very center is the ham
Next to it lies the pie
And they eat while listening to a christmas jam

What Christmas is all about
Spending time with the ones you love
And you go up to the kids and shout
"Merry Christmas my doves!"

Lamest poem ever made
Makes no sense.
But this was worth a shot

This will be a failure.

I call this Christmas cheer, and then some.

The white speck falls slowly, slowly
Resting on my hand ever so gently.
The cold prickle is a welcome sensation
As is the novelty of its presence.

The street is colored with a muddy brown,
An amalgamation of melted snow and grime.
Nothing is audible from the streets, not a sound
Nothing to mark the passage of time.

A tree set up for the holiday cheer,
Lights and sparkly objects for accessories.
An angel up top, to watch the children’s gleeful faces
When the clock strikes twelve, and the wrapping paper explodes.

No shine, no spark, no light, no fun;
The heavy darkness acts as not Light’s opposite, but as null yoke.
Hostile looks, cold shoulders, an angry glance to see that the deed is done;
The fragile glass angel testifies- down the middle it broke.

Woeful, perhaps, or jovial?
Just because it’s Christmas doesn’t mean that your emotions correspond.

Children jumping with glee

Oh, when will Santa come? they cry
Their faces turned up to the stars

Soon, they say, soon he comes
And presents appear under the tree

Colorful bows
Ribbons, and paper
Strewn across the floor

Squeals of delight
Happiness, beaming,
Children jumping with glee.

Kinda jumps around a lot. I have no sense of organization and can't stick to a set structure
