It's hype, like with the black advent. :/ I don't even think the design is that attractive, but people are all hyped-up about it. It's always been difficult to trade for, probably just because it's something "different", but TBH I don't really like it

Also, one of the pups from the litter it was released with went rare recently, so I think people are trying to get the longtail before it does too. But there were special circumstances surrounding the release of the dog that went rare... So who knows how long it'll actually be before this one does?

They're going for crazy things even as uncommons. I don't even want to think about what people would ask for when they're rare.

Saw a horse that was 800 days old. Didn't particularly like it though, so I let it pass. It was one of the Hanukkah horses from 2009, this one.


Got a pretty green dog instead.

I saw a lot of things, but I haven't the faintest clue what's rare and what's not, so I just picked a pretty common horse. *shrugs* I have a lot to learn at this place. I haven't started a new place in so long; It's so weird and disconcerting being a newbie again.

It is really weird being a newbie again, agreed.

I can recommend going through the archive - http://www.chickensmoothie.com/archive/ - there you can see all the previously released pets and how rare they are. And you can add the ones you like to your site wishlist.

Helps to have an idea what you're looking for when entering the Pound, *so* many pets there.

Yup the `09 Malk staff pup also- is really in demand even more then Shima. Luan's.

Thought actually even before one of the pets went rare - it was high in demand for a staff dog.

And I believe that the story behind the rare `09 Fiery Gatoh's staff pup is that it was accidentally forgotten so it had to be adopted later on - and could get only one of it. ^^
