Becoming the mother figure in the household at age fourteen has caused Blake to play it safe in all situations, never risking anything around her siblings. Whenever Blake talks to boys, she becomes the complete opposite of the bold, in-charge older sister that she is in the house. She becomes quiet and soft, completely shy and always blushing.
Blake is a die-hard believer in always telling the truth, no matter what. The only thing that could make her lie would be her siblings’ safety. She would lie to keep them safe; otherwise, she is completely honest. Along with being honest, she's also very reliable. She always does her best to pull through for people when she's needed or is asked. She's very determined so it’s hard to stop her from getting something done.
In front of her siblings, Blake seems fierce and brave, laughing in the face of danger. However, deep down, she’s just a girlie girl that loves flowers and animals and taking picture - a girl who wishes she could be fourteen again. But she always appear strong-willed and brave, completely out-going and not afraid of anything, even when it’s not 100% true.
Even when Blake is really good at something - like swimming, per say - she is always completely modest about it. She’s a very humble person and always denies any compliments given to her yet she showers others with compliments nonetheless. Just like a mom would.
Blake - after six years of taking care of her family - has finally managed to perfectly balance her moments of seriousness and silliness. She makes sure that she finds time to make her family goof off and smile, because the situation around them can often put her troops down in the dumps. However, when it’s needed, she's very serious and becomes the stern mother figure of the household.
history: There isn’t much to say about the Grey family due to the fact that their family has remained neutral in the war for centuries. Blake’s parents were killed the one time they intervened. Well, their mother was. She was killed when Blake was only seven years old, jut after Ainley was born. Their father didn’t die until Blake was fourteen.
Before that, Blake - being the eldest child - suffered the abuse from her father just as much - if not more - than Cavan did. She knows that Cavan thinks they forgot about him and that he thinks that he was the only one who suffered from their father, but what he doesn’t realize is that their father had to have something to do when he walked up the stairs from the basement.
Blake would tell all her younger siblings - even little Sawyer, who wanted to stay and protect her - to run off and find something else to do. Her father beat her just as much as he did Cavan but Blake found that becoming family-oriented after his death helped her cope, rather than withdrawing into herself like Cavan did.
She’s glad her father is gone even though the burden of taking care of six children at the age of fourteen was a lot for her. She got through it and she's glad that it happened.

Logan tries to be nice to everyone and treat everyone equally, but being a Hathaway, she's prone to strongly disliking the Salvatores just because of her family’s history. Nonetheless, she is kind and gentle to most and she always tries to do the right thing, no matter what. She’s decided that she’ll never kill anyone, even if it means to save her own life, because she knows that killing never solves anything.
Around anyone but her sisters, Logan is very quiet and rather shy. She gets nervous when talking to people and will often stutter. She gets especially nervous when talking to boys and is actually quite afraid of most men, due to her sisters scaring her with stories of the ‘evil’ Salvatores. She usually just plays it safe and sticks to the background, out of everyone’s way.
Logan was raised to be honest and always tell the truth unless a lie will protect her or one of her sisters. She's also very trusting of others. Her naivety leads her to believe mostly whatever someone says, always seeing the good in everyone.
Logan is very modest whenever she receives a compliment, because she actually has very low self-esteem. She's very afraid of nearly everything and so she tries to stay out of everyone’s way as much as possible.
