TxCat -- how does that work exactly? I'm curious. A friend and I write together constantly outside of NaNo. If we could manage to do it together, I think it would make it so much easier since we're so used to it.

Hawke -- Make the part of the land that "goes away" mostly barren? With only a few stragglers or nomadic tribes or something.

I'm about 700 words from my goal for this evening. We got a new puppy on Friday, so things have been very, very busy for me since I'm the only one home and thus she has my full attention. I lost my head start but thankfully I'm not behind. I've been managing by doing a quick 10 minute word war here and there while she's napping.

I'm half of a writing team (Pshawraven is the other half) but we each write 50,000 words.

I met 2 girls at a write-in the other day who were also co-writing a book for NaNo.

My friends and I got together to write today (though two of them were actually just doing homework), and I needed a description of a monster that I needed to show up at the part of my story I was at, and I asked my friends, and they each threw ideas out there all at once, and I used all of them, and it ended up working really well. I love writing with people.

It's not the end result I need help with. I know what the surviving chunk of land and peoples will be like. That's why I CAN'T have it a blasted wasteland.

Well, I'm already halfway there. I'll reach 50 by day 14. Hopefully more so. I already have enough done.

Nano12 is doing well, now getting into the fun part... Well, more stuffs will happen now.

Sword and Seal, well Selkie is now away from her home, and fun can begin with her.

My NaNo is doing well enough. I've spent most of this week going over the old RP that I wanted to incorporate, and brainstorming, with a bit of writing of random scenes- including randomly creating Devcca as a character solely for the purpose of killing her. It was awesome.

With the brainstorm work that happened last night, I'm finally starting to feel the pull of writing! The story is starting to come to life in my head rather than being a bunch of vague, misty notions fogged in smoke and mirrors.

And... I'm officially 1 day ahead in WC quota as of last night. Wasn't even trying to be, just really had to finish what I was working on!

YOu know I'd love that. More torture, the more fun! Resurrect me, make me a minion that lives in pain, then kill me again, because the MC got mad at something, and lash out on me, killing me again.

That's ok. I have a vampire to torture. He displeased his queen and she's going to chain him to the whipping post- and leave him there until the sun rises.

TxCat -- how does that work exactly?

We use one ID on the site, usually mine since I have participated longer. We have a series of characters which lend themselves readily to multiple novels so we decide on a badic plot, which ones to use, and write! At the end of the day, we put the pieces together into a coherent whole and submit a word count.

Later, we'll go back and edit to make it make sense and fix inconsistencies.
