((Haha.... okay. I've just been pretending that their buckskin clothes shift with them, since it's leather, like skin. And it went very well, thank you for asking! A wonderful time spent with family. Yummy cake and ice cream. Sweet gifts from my siblings.... it was nice. ))

Aiden watched eagerly as Tami healed Kieran's wounds, and as he saw the last of the deep gashes close up, his mind instantly switched to worrying about Raven.
His worry only increased when Tami said that Raven had lost a lot of blood.
At Tami's leave, he turned and hurried over to Raven, shifting into his human form.
"Raven....." he paused, not knowing what to say. He just wanted her to be okay, to hear it from her own lips, to see it in her eyes. Why couldn't he have protected her? Why couldn't he have taken that blow?
He reached over and stroked some of her hair back, not thinking about what he was doing.

Kieran sighed and slowly opened his eyes. What had happened? Where was he?
He raised his eyes and looked up, seeing Tami's lovely figure silohuetted by the moon.
He smiled and wagged his tail until the memories suddenly came flooding back.
With a snarl he jumped up to his feet "Where is Aiden!? And the cougar?! What happened?" he asked, twitching his nose and spinning in a circle.
He smelled blood and faint traces of cougar, but other than that, nothing.

((Me too ; I'm glad you had a good time and I still don't have internet at my new house...we were supposed to get it on Saturday but then they cancelled the appointment and we had to go to a store not very close to us to reschedule; hopefully, we'll be getting it tomorrow morning...i also have a belated birthday present for you but it has to hatch first before I can trade it to you ))

Raven came to a few minutes after feeling someone gently stroke her hair away from her face. She looked over and saw Aiden sitting beside her and she smiled softly at him glad that he was okay.
"I'm okay but a bit dizzy," she said as she saw the worried expression on his face and tried to sit up a bit.
As she did, she felt her surroundings spin around her and she had to sit against the nearest tree trunk to steady herself and everything around her.

Tami smiled back at Kieran after she saw him open his eyes and then got a bit concerned as she watched him jump up to his feet with a snarl.
"Aiden is fine and is over with Raven, she said in reply to his first question about where his brother was. "The cougar is gone and you were flung away by the cougar I think when you tried to attack it. I was healing Raven's wounds so I didn't see what happened but I heard it happen. I then healed your wounds after it left and after Raven was healed and told Aiden that he could check on her if he wanted."
These last few statements were in reply to the other questions that he had asked her while sitting on the ground as he looked around the clearing that they were in.

((Sorry! My internet has been "ka-put" for the last two days. Awww! I feel so special! I don't mind belated birthday presents. They make the fun last longer. ;) I hope you get your internet issue resolved soon!))

"Easy there. Don't move too fast." Aiden said, helping Raven rest against the tree trunk.
After a moment, he chuckled slightly "What is it with you and cats?" he asked with a slightly amused, slightly serious tone "Or is me, you, and cats just a bad, bad combo?"

Kieran listened to Tami, and he relaxed slightly "Oh..." he shifted into his human form, sitting on his knees "Was Raven bad off?"
his expression changed then to a hard frown "And WHAT were Raven and Aiden doing out here at this time of the night?"

((It's fine and glad you don't mind late birthday presents ; I think you'll like the present I was finally able to breed for you ...as for the internet issue, we got it yesterday but we don't have a WiFi network set up yet so I can't get it on my computer until my brothers get home today to visit for the weekend))

Raven allowed Aiden to help her rest her head and her back against the tree trunk. After she was settled, she heard the other questions that he asked.
"I don't think they like me very much and I'm sure that we do make a really bad combo with cats," she said in reply to both before looking over at Kieran and Tami knowing that they would probably ask them soon what they were doing here at this time of night.

Tami just nodded in reply to Kieran's first statement before hearing his question that he asked after he sat on his knees.
"Well she lost a lot of blood from the bite wound that she received from the cougar so she's going to need her rest as well as need to eat a lot so that she won't be as dizzy as she is right now."
Then reply to his other question that he asked she said while resting her head on his shoulder again, "I think they might've been following us to see where it was we were going."

Kieran frowned deeper at Tami's guess "I think you are right." darn! Was he never going to get away from Aiden? They were twins, and they had always been close in soul, mind, and body, but...REALLY? Could he just not have 10 minutes of peace away from his twin.
He stood and dusted himself off "Well, let's get the two of them back to camp." he said "I'll find out from Aiden later what exactly they were doing."

Aiden nodded with a slight grin "I was afraid of that." he then looked up as his brother approached.
"Let's get her back to the village. She needs to eat and rest." Kieran said.
Aiden nodded and moved over to Raven's side, scooping one arm behind her back and the other under her legs.
Kieran stooped down on her other side and did the same thing, then the two of them picked her up at the same time and carried her in a cradle fashion.
"Tami, would you grab my ax?" Aiden asked as they started to walk back toward camp.

Raven just nodded and smiled when she heard what Aiden said before she saw Kieran come towards them after talking to Tami. Then when both boys scooped her up in a cradle fashion like they had done when they were younger and she had been attacked by a bobcat, she blushed a bit and started to protest.
"I can walk I'm not that dizzy," she complained as they started to carry her back towards the camp.

Tami nodded in reply to everything that Kieran said before walking after him towards Aiden and Raven. She nodded again when she heard Aiden's question, went over to where it was, picked it up, and then followed them afterward while hearing Raven complain about walking on her own and not being too dizzy that she couldn't.

Aiden was the first to speak up "I think it would be better if we carried you." he said in reply to Raven's comment.
Kieran nodded in agreement "There is plenty of time to walk later."
It only took a short time to make it back to camp, then the boys walked to Raven's hut and paused at the door.
"Tami...door please." Kieran said, pausing a couple of feet from the door "Okay Raven, do you think you can walk from here?"

Raven sighed and didn't say anything as she just let herself be carried the rest of the way to her hut. She had only nodded when she heard what Kieran said about there being plenty of time to walk later before Tami walked up and opened Raven's door for the boys after giving Aiden his axe back.
"Yes," Raven said in reply to Kieran's question and waited for both of them to let go of her so that she could do just that.

Tami stepped back a few steps so that Aiden and Kieran had plenty of room to place Raven without her being in the way and then looked around the camp, wondering what she could do now that they were back. Perhaps she and Kieran could go back to the lake but she didn't want to say that in case he had another idea of what they could do.

Kieran and Aiden slowly lowered Raven to her feet, then Aiden took her arm "Here, I'll help you inside." he said.

Kieran stepped back and pulled Tami aside "I think...." he sighed "...I think we should call it a night. I'm pretty sure Aiden and I are going to get into a heavy discussion about this, and that could take up most of the night." he sighed again "Should we meet for breakfast in the morning?"
