Detailed ideas are great. Got an idea that you aren't sure about? Toss it up and let others add what they think. Respect each other and everyone's ideas. No fighting! Disagree with someone's idea? That's fine, but don't bash them for it. We want to hear as many different ideas and points of view from as many different players as possible.
Current Suggestions This is a list of user made suggestions as well as features that are planned to be made from the site staff's side.
ACCEPTED - This will be implemented. Time schedule varies. PENDING - This is not yet accepted or denied. It may be implemented or it may be not. Discussion about it is still ongoing. DENIED - This will with the highest probability not be implemented. DONE/ONGOING - This has already been implemented, but more of the same is likely coming. DONE - This has already been implemented.

More ways to sort creatures. (Alphabetically, by creature number, etc.)
A way to show your creature army's species and count in the user information.
Tabs that lock so they are not available for trade and so do not load when a trade is initiated.
PENDING
Battle system of some kind.
Item gathering.
An official MS roleplay thread or board.
Some sort of simple game(s) related to the Magistream World.
Removing creatures from lineages so that they do not show on the lineage page.
Site scavenger hunts.
DENIED
Changes to how gold is earned.
User blogs.
Some sort of avatar system.
DONE/ONGOING
New quests.
Quests that are more difficult to complete.
Contests that have an effect on the site, such as creature design, recolors, or writing site stories/lore.
Ability to gain more Allies.
Community quests wherein users must work together to complete a goal.
More drinks from Remy's Inn, or more drinks available in the Inn at the same time.
More areas similar to the Koi Pond on the map, including areas that are holiday specific. (Throw in gold for a chance at a creature.)

Mass move between tabs as well as trades and tabs.
A Library map point with all of Master Belmos's Nursery Tales collected there.
Donation pet breeding potions.
Limited repeatable quest that allows you to change a creature's gender.
A visible link to the user search function.
A visible link to the advanced search function.
Tabs where creatures are viewable but don't gain clicks/grow.
Symbol on the user information next to your post that shows what society you belong to.
Bestiary.
Tab breadcrumbs.
Timestamps on trades/trades sort in order of newest to oldest.
Multiple Streams.

Of all the things that have been suggested over the years, the one feature I would most like to see is additional automated sort options.
Like:
Alphabetically by species
by creature number (not species number)
alphabetically by name
reverse default so that the newest creatures are at the top, not the bottom of the page
actually... reverse of all those I listed up there too.
Hawke's IRL fiance, Lunaroki, suffered a massive stroke and died on Tuesday, March 31st, 2015.
Hawke needs to concentrate on other things, and is leaving MS permanently.
One thing I would liek to see is new quests and DEFINITELY a battle system. Maybe even a gathering system for items just to adventure with our pets? (Course, the items we find would be useless unless we find a use for them, lol)
Battle system would be cool, as would a item-gathering thing like YiTang said. Maybe the ability to buff up certain creatures, either as adults or as hatchlings depending on how you raise them?
And some sort of official MS roleplay thread/board maybe.

I like the idea of a battle system, along with item gathering. A new quest would be good too.

-More quests that AREN'T linked to joining a society(because it has been ages since we had a quest that wasn't society related). Though a quest that only members of 'x' society could do(perhaps multiple times since it' limited) could also work.
-On that note, more stuff to do in the WORLD section of the site, even simple games.
-A visible link somewhere to the user search function. Because I know it exists, but I usually have to end up googling 'magistream user search' to find it because hell if I know where on this site it is.
