(Ah. Yeah. Been a while since I heard "Billie Jean". Currently I have been obsessing over Paula Abdul's "Dance Like There's No Tomorrow". I want to learn to sing and dance to it....why, I don't know. But it sounds like fun ATM. ;) )

Aiden laughed lightly, but blushed. Him wanting to kiss her: yeah. Actually doing it: heck no way. Just a few moments ago he just thought she was a friend, not a possible mate. So now this conversation just got awkward. To kiss, or not to kiss....that was the question. Would that kiss be awkward, or would it be good? He had no clue, and he wasn't even sure if he was on that level yet...
He finally cleared his throat and stood to his feet "Well, shall we continue our patrol?" he asked.

Kieran was disappointed that Tami broke up their moment, but he knew her reasons were right. They needed to safe it for later, when it was official.
He spiked an eyebrow at her final comment "No doubt. You usually have a full load on such a night." he recalled the times when she literally had a line of wounded males, usually losers in a fight, waiting to be healed at her door "Hopefully, I won't be among them." he grinned "And if I'm not, then all the other guys may just have to wait till morning to be healed." he winked.

((I want to learn how to dance to Michael Jackson's "Thriller" since it looks interesting and maybe later Psy's "Gangum (or however you spell that) Style" so that a few cousins of mine on my dad's side of the family and I can do a flash mob out of it; that would be fun ...oh and "save" ))

Raven saw Aiden's blush and felt a little better for having blushed herself just a few minutes ago and then had to look at her reflection in the creek again when there was sort of an awkward silence between them. When he cleared his throat before asking what he did about finishing their patrol, she looked back over at him and gave a small nod.
"Yes I think we should and would you like to continue in wolf form or would you rather do it as humans?" she said and asked in reply to his inquiry.

Tami just nodded in agreement to what Kieran said in his first statement before hearing the rest of what he said. She blushed a bit when she saw his wink and looked down at the ground for a minute before looking back up at him.
"I hope you won't be either and yes they just might have to," she said in reply to his last two statements. "Also hopefully I won't have to heal too many other males because that will just make me exhausted if I use my healing ability too much all at one time. It's happened before and I really don't want to repeat the experience."

"Human would be fine." Aiden replied to Raven's question.
After a moment of walking in silence with her, Aiden finally cleared his throat "So, how long have you been wanting to tell me...all this?" he motioned between him and her, knowing that she would get the point. He was hoping that she hadn't had these feelings towards him for months now, because he would feel like an idiot if that were the case. How could he miss such a thing?
(Bwhaha...Aiden, you miss a LOT of things...)

Kieran frowned "Yeah. I hope not too." he sighed "But, since it's not spring, but summer, there should be fewer competing, so fewer to heal." it was true. The spring months were when the mating rituals would get especially crazy. The rest of the year was pretty laid back as far as that was concerned.

*nods in agreement with that and looks at Aiden before looking at Raven with a raised eyebrow*))

Raven nodded before walking with Aiden back into the woods from where they came until they stopped to rest. She had been looking around at their surroundings again when she heard him clear his throat and the question he asked afterward as he gestured to be in-between them.
"Um well to be honest I've been meaning to tell you what I did earlier for a few months now," she said with a small blush on her cheeks and getting shy again. "I've just been keeping it to myself until now and trying not to let it be known yet until I was ready to tell you which was today."

"I hope so but every time I heal the losers it feels like they want to try to get my sympathy for being injured and it's really quite annoying," Tami said in reply with a small sigh to Kieran's statement about there being less competing. "I guess they're also trying to get me to be sorry enough for them that I'd choose them to be my mate but it hasn't ever worked and never will."
She had made her choice so if she had to tell the others gently about her decision to get them to back off and leave her alone, then that's what she'd do.

((oh and I might not be as active this weekend since we're having company over and going apple picking as well as bowling but I'll try to get a reply up when I can and probably on my kindle if I don't get on my computer))

((Ugh. The sig things can be so annoying. Currently, my sig code is at the very top, above everything else in my sig. However, I can't remember if it was that way with my last one as well, or if it was different.... so, try it at the very top and see what happens.))

Aiden mentally face-palmed himself "I had a feeling you were going to say that. You did a good job at hiding it from me. I had no clue." of course, at this moment, he was thinking about what his mother had told him long ago: he wasn't a very observant pup. So she could have been blatantly showing that she loved him and he could have missed it. What really puzzled him though was how he missed his own feelings for her. Even right now as they walked and talked he was starting to feel intoxicated and suffocated by her presence. Or, perhaps he was just reacting more from their conversation?? Oh, heck.... he was just flat out confused now.

Kieran smiled lightly at Tami and took her hand in his "Well, I'm glad that is the case. I honestly don't know what I would do if it were the other way around." he cleared his throat and lost his smile while puffing up his chest a little bit "However, just to be safe, I may stick around while you are healing them. Some of them might need a little more persuasion in the idea that you are not available."

(Ah, okay. That's fine. Don't feel obligated to get on and post. Just enjoy your time with your company!)

"Thanks," Raven said in reply with a small shy smile on her face before looking around at their surroundings again like she had been doing earlier before Aiden asked what he did.
She wasn't sure what else she could say in order to keep their conversation going so she let a small silence fall between them as an effect.

Tami smiled back at him and squeezed Kieran's hand a bit after he had taken it in his before she heard everything that he said.
"I don't think you needed to worry about it being the other way around if you did since my focus was on you and always has been," she said in reply to his first two statements. "I'd like that. It would keep them from annoying me and getting frustrated."
These last two statements were said in reply to his last statement while still keeping the smile on her face from earlier.

Aiden couldn't think of anything else to say, but the silence was driving him insane.
"So, what kept you from telling me? And why today?" he finally asked, glad he could think of some good questions to ask that didn't sound completely stupid or desperate.

Kieran nodded "Good! It's settled then." he looked around and sighed "Well, we aren't far from the meeting place. Aiden and Raven are probably wondering where we are at. We better not keep them waiting, or they might come looking for us again." he grinned and winked.

"I did say earlier when I confessed that I was shy before today and wasn't feeling brave enough to confess how I really felt," Raven said in reply to Aiden's first question. "I guess I felt brave enough to tell you today and I got over how shy I was feeling."
The last statement that she said was in reply to his other question that he asked her as she continued to walk beside him in order to finish their patrol and then meet up with Kieran and Tami afterward.

Tami just nodded in reply to what Kieran said in his first statement before she heard the rest of what he said.
"Yeah I guess we shouldn't if they're there already," she said in reply before blushing a bit again when she saw the wink that he gave her.
She then started to head back to the woods still with her hand in his in order to finish their patrol so that they could meet Aiden and Raven at the meeting spot.

"Ah...Okay." Aiden nodded, suddenly feeling like his "good questions" from earlier were really stupid now. She had told him those things, after all.
As they neared the meeting place, Aiden paused and put a hand on Raven's shoulder "Hey. Let's not mention this to anyone just yet? Okay?" touching her was making his hand tingle, and a strange buzz seemed to crawl up his arm from the sensation. It was weird, but he liked it. But at the same time, knowing he liked the feeling worried him, so he quickly lowered his hand back down to his side.

Kieran held Tami's hand contentedly as they walked. When they entered the clearing where the meeting rock was at, Kieran's contented expression changed to some confusion and worry.
"Well, that's odd. They aren't here yet." he said, looking around and not seeing any sign of Raven or Aiden "I hope they didn't get into trouble AGAIN." he sighed.

"Okay," Raven said in reply as she felt a small tingle feeling when Aiden put his hand on her shoulder.
She didn't really mind it at all. In fact, she liked it but felt a bit sad when he moved his hand back down to his side again but she was careful to keep that from her face. She then suddenly got the urge to kiss him so she did by leaning in a bit and rising on her toes in order to place her lips softly against his. He was a bit taller than she was so there was a small distance between them in height.

"I'm sure they're on their way so we shouldn't be worried just yet," Tami said in reply to everything that Kieran said as she saw the worried expression on his face. "We should wait a few more minutes before going after them to see where they are."
She was a bit worried herself but she had a feeling that her friend might want a little alone time with Aiden. She had known since they were younger that Raven really liked Aiden but never told the former that she knew.
