Aiden froze when he saw Raven coming in for a kiss. He didn't even have the time to wonder why he froze. As soon as her lips just barely brushed his, warmth and electricity washed all over Aiden. Without thinking, he grabbed her by the shoulders and pulled her into a passionate kiss. But just as quickly, he suddenly let go and took a step back from her. He was breathless, but felt like he could run a hundred miles an hour.
"I-I-I'm sorry. I don't...I don't know what I was thinking." he stammered, hoping she wouldn't be offended one way or another. He was so confused. Was he really so oblivious to his own feelings? Or maybe Raven had just woke an emotion in him that had been sleeping until today? Either way, that kiss practically sealed it for him. The buzz he was feeling in his head from it was definitely waking him up now and he wanted more of it.

Kieran sighed and nodded "You're right. We'll give them a moment. Maybe they found some animal trail that distracted them." he lead the way over to the rock in the middle of the clearing. The thought occurred to him for a brief moment that maybe Aiden and Raven had a relationship going on, but he quickly dismissed the thought as nonsense. Aiden in a relationship? What a laugh. And with Raven? He better not. Raven was too good. She was too fragile, too sweet. Aiden was reckless and careless. It was a bad match. Besides that, Aiden was oblivious to love. Last night had proven that.

Raven was a little surprised when Aiden turned her soft kiss into a passionate one but didn't mind since she retaliated with a passionate one back before he quickly pulled back afterward. She tilted her head a bit to the side when she heard him stammer an apology.
"It's okay and I liked it," she said in reply before stepping forward again to meet him. "If you wouldn't mind running that kiss by me again..."
After she trailed off at the end of that last statement, she started the kiss again but this time she had her arms be wrapped around his neck.

Tami nodded before following Kieran to the rock that was in the center of the clearing. She had no idea what her mate-to-be was thinking but she hoped that he wouldn't think that Raven and Aiden being together was bad or was nonsense. Yes, Aiden was a little oblivious but maybe Raven could wake him up a little and make his obliviousness go away little by little if not all at one time.

Aiden froze again as Raven came in for another kiss, but he relaxed as she wrapped her arms around him. He closed his eyes and slowly wrapped his arms around her waist, pulling her in a little closer. He leaned into the kiss, feeling the warmth he felt earlier turn into a fire. His hands traveled up to her shoulders and he gripped them gently, pulling her into a harder kiss as he started to become lost in the moment.

Kieran waited for a couple of minutes, and he walked around the rock a couple of times, his eyebrows furrowing with worry. He hadn't heard a sound: no howls, no barks, nothing. So, was something wrong, or were those two jacking around somewhere trying to get into trouble?
"This is driving me crazy." he finally, pausing in front of Tami "Wait here a moment, I'll go see if I can find them... or at least hurry them along."
He jogged back into the forest and onto the path that Aiden and Raven should be coming down. He jogged for a little ways and then came to a sudden stop when he saw someone through the trees. He squinted his eyes and studied them for a moment, then his eyes popped open and flared. He rushed through the rest of the trees and stopped about 20 feet away from them.
"AAAIDEN!!" Kieran bellowed angrily. His worst suspicious came true. Innocent little Raven was being taken advantage of by his rough, unconcerned, inexperienced twin.
As if a bear had burst through the trees, Aiden reacted with fury at his brother's voice. He pulled away from Raven with red eyes and pushed her behind him, canines already sharpened before he even burst into his wolf form and charged Kieran.
Kieran was stunned, but reacted no less. He jumped to the ground in wolf form and collided with his brother. Snarls and roars echoed through the trees, and Kieran suddenly found himself fighting a very real fight. His brother was momentarily lost in blood lust.

((I like it too ; yesh poor Tami indeed... *hugs Tami out of comfort* ...how did Aiden get to be caught up in blood lust, and how was Raven being taken advantage of? ; unless Kieran was just assuming that he was doing that, then never mind...also, after "he finally", there needs to be "said" so it can read "he finally said" and "suspicious" needs to be "suspicions"))

Raven was a little surprised when she was moved a little closer to Aiden but didn't mind as she continued to kiss him and the feeling faded. Her surprise returned a bit a few minutes later when she felt him kiss her a little harder, and tried to return it just as hard. The kiss then stopped moments later when Kieran shouted angrily at Aiden when the former found them and after the latter pulled away to react a little harshly to his brother. She had been shocked to see that Aiden's eyes were red before she was pushed to being behind him and as he charged towards Kieran to fight him. She could only watch in horror at the scene that had broken out in front of her, not knowing what to do in order to stop it since she didn't want to intervene and get seriously injured as a result.

Tami just watched Kieran pace in front of the rock in the clearing that was their meeting place with Aiden and Raven before she heard what he said. She nodded and then watched him walk into the trees, faintly hearing him shout Aiden's name angrily a few moments later. She wondered what had happened just before she heard a whole bunch of snarls and roars echo through the trees in the direction that her love had gone in. Curious, she shifted into her wolf form and headed towards the sounds even though she was told to stay put. What she found when she got to where she thought the sounds and the shout from earlier had come from, made her just stand there with horror clear on her face. She shook herself out of it before heading over to where Raven was, and shifted back to human form shortly afterward to watch the fight between the two brothers helplessly.

(I kinda figured that Aiden, not having had really experienced these emotions before, and being caught up in the moment, let his inner hormonal wolf take over which then saw a threat to the object of his emotions, instead of his twin brother showing displeasure. Just a way to add more drama to the moment. And hey! I'm allowed typos when I am typing really fast!)

After a moment of Aiden tearing into his hide like a mad dog, Kieran quickly decided it was a mistake for him to be in wolf form. No matter how hard he tried to talk to Aiden and get his twin's attention, Aiden only reacted in violence.
Kieran forced himself up on his hind feet and wrapped his paws around his snapping, snarling brother before shifting into human form. His paws grew into his strong arms which then tightened around Aiden.
"Aiden! Stop it! I'm your brother!" Kieran grunted as the wolf in his arms snapped and whined, then tried to push his teeth up close to his throat. Kieran grabbed Aiden's paw and pulled him down, then he wrapped him into a choke hold.
Aiden whined and gagged, choking in Kieran's embrace. After a moment, he began to relax as he ran out of oxygen. That's when Kieran wrapped a hand around his twin's throat and then slammed him to the ground, holding him down.
Aiden whined, then shifted into his human form, coughing harshly as he gasped for air.
"You stupid IDIOT!" Kieran roared "What were you thinking!?"
Aiden paused coughing "I...didn't..."
"Exactly. You DIDN'T think." Kieran interrupted, standing up and looking at Raven "What was bloody going on between you two and how long has it been going on?" he asked.
Aiden got to his feet and shoved Kieran "Leave her out of this!"
Kieran shoved Aiden back "YOU pull yourself together, THEN we'll talk!"
Aiden, still weak from lack of oxygen, stumbled back and tripped, landing on the ground with a thud.
"You've never learned to control yourself!" Kieran shouted at Aiden "You're a warrior, a warmonger. You run on instinct! You've never learned control!"
Aiden's expression showed clear hurt by his brother's words, and all he could do was stare.
Kieran looked back at Raven, still apparently waiting for answers to his questions.

((ah okay ; just wondering ...I understand but I was just pointing them out in case you weren't aware of them; sorry... ))

Once the fight was over, Tami went over to where Aiden and Kieran ended up and started to heal their wounds that they received during their little skirmish while Raven looked at the ground after hearing the latter's harsh questions towards her.
"We were just kissing and it only started today," she said in reply while looking back up at Kieran from having her attention be on the ground for a few minutes. "I just told him today how I really felt, that I loved him, after months of not being able to because I was too shy and not brave enough. Then I kissed him a couple of times but I was the one that initiated it and not the other way around."
As Raven talked, Tami finished up healing Kieran's wounds and then went over to Aiden to work on healing his. A few minutes after she was done with her work, she stepped back and let them finish their conversation while trying not to be in the way.

Aiden sat up as Tami healed him, then he stood once she was finished, and he stepped forward once Raven finished explaining "Look Kieran...leave Raven out of this."
Kieran rubbed the bridge of his nose "I can't "leave her out of this" because she is involved in this." he looked at his brother "What would have happened if I wouldn't have come along?"
Aiden grit his teeth "I probably wouldn't have snapped." he growled.
Kieran crossed his arms "And what if you would have?"
"I wouldn't have! Not with Raven! I would never hurt her!"
Kieran shook his head "Enough!" he looked at Raven "Aiden has not learned enough control of his emotions to handle this right now. When the moon is completely full in a few days, and the rituals have begun, he can burn the fire out of his blood then. But for now, I think you two should....well...." he motioned with his hands that they should have some space.
Aiden scoffed "And you think that is going to help?!"
Kieran glared at his twin "It will hopefully keep you from snapping!" he shook his head again "We'll talk about this later. Right now, we need to get back to camp and report that all is normal."

Raven narrowed her eyes a bit when she heard everything that Kieran said about them having some space between them until the rituals, not liking the idea but also not wanting to argue with him any further on the issue.
"Okay," she said in reply to the space thing as well as them heading back to camp now to report that everything was okay.
She shifted into her wolf form and then took off in the direction that the camp was, feeling a bit upset but not wanting the others to see that there were tears in her eyes.

Tami got a bit concerned when she heard Raven agree so readily to Kieran's suggestion before the former shifted and took off without them. She knew that she would probably stop when she figured that they were a good distance away from her to make sure that they were following before resuming again. She let out a small sigh before kissing Kieran on the cheek softly, shifting into her wolf form shortly afterward, and then taking off after her friend after that.

(Ugh.... you poor thing. I hate colds too. I haven't had a cold for over a year. I take Echinacea pills to keep them away. Do you like garlic? It should help you kick the cold faster. Put a whole bunch on your food. Nom nom! No body will want to sit near you for a couple of days though.)

Aiden watched helplessly as Raven ran off. She was hurt. It was his fault. If he had just kept it together, if he had just...just...
He looked over at Kieran and watched as Tami kissed him. As she shifted and ran off, Aiden felt his anger flare up.
"You hurt her!" he growled at Kieran "She has been wanting to be close to me for....months, and you just told her that she couldn't be near me, and then.....then.... you and Tami just...." flabbergasted, Aiden shifted into his wolf form and followed after the girls.

Kieran let out a growling sigh as Aiden ran off, then he shifted into his wolf form and followed quickly behind. He should have known this day would come. Their mother always warned about it. She knew Kieran had a grip on reality and his inner emotions and Aiden didn't. And he had ignored his intuitions about Raven and Aiden. He was so wrapped up with his own infatuations, he ignored the possibility of stirring Raven and Aiden's longing for love.

((I had one two months ago shortly after moving to our new house but also because I had gotten wet by rain and then went into an air conditioned environment afterward; I think I got this one because the weather changed to being cold suddenly...I do and I've never heard that before ; I know soup helps but I didn't know that garlic did))

Raven kept running for a few more minutes until stopping and waiting for a little bit for the others to catch up. Her face where her tears had trickled down earlier was now dry so she wasn't as upset as before but she was still mad at Kieran for having even suggested that she and Aiden have some space before the rituals. When she saw Tami and the boys coming closer to where she was, she turned, and started to head in the direction of the camp again.

Tami was still concerned for Raven but she felt a little better when she briefly saw her friend's wolf face and saw that it didn't have any tears on it like she feared that there might be. She also felt a bit bad for having kissed Kieran's cheek in front of Aiden when Kieran had told him and Raven that they needed to have some space between them and now knew that he might now be mad at her too as well as Kieran but she would apologize for that later. For now, she continued to run after her friend when she had resumed running in the direction of camp again.
