Aiden sighed as Raven sat up and yawned "Good morning." he sat up and stretched as well "As much as I hate to admit, I guess you're right." he said with a wink and a grin, referring to her comment about patrol. He leaned over and planted a kiss on her lips, then he turned and hopped out of bed and grabbed a clean shirt, pulling it on.

Kieran put his hand on Tami's, holding it on his cheek, then he moved his face around and kissed her soft palm tenderly "Good morning." he said with a smile "Did you sleep well?"

Raven kissed Aiden back before getting out of bed as well. She stretched a bit before getting out a clean deer skin dress out, putting it on over the one she currently wore from the day before and then skillfully pulling the latter dress off. She put it in a laundry pile to wash at the stream later before making her way over to where Scamp and Felix were.
"I hate when I'm right at times," she said in reference to what he had said about her being right. "I really don't want to go on patrol today but I also don't want to get in trouble at the same time if I don't."

Tami smiled at the feeling of Kieran's hand over hers that was currently on his cheek before smiling a little bit more due to him kissing her palm shortly after he moved his face around so that he could do that.
"Yes I did," she said in reply to his question still with the smile on her face. "You?"

Aiden chuckled "I know what you mean." he said, running his fingers through his hair. He looked at the two kits as they watched Raven with wide, frightened, but expectant eyes. He glanced around the room and found a pouch of curdling milk "Here." he said, taking the pouch off the nail "They'll like this." he said.

Kieran nodded "I don't know when I have slept better." he replied. He put a kiss on her forehead, then he turned and rolled out of the bed "I guess I better get around and go drag Aiden out on patrol. He's probably still sleeping..."

((I have everything you wanted in an initiated trade along with another creature that you didn't ask for that I thought you might like since you didn't have it yet ; have you decided on anything else you might want yet? I have a Ruby Capricorn hatchling, a Spotted Holly Jackalope hatchling, and a Purple Pygmy Crystalwing hatchling ready but I'm not going to complete it yet until I have any other creature you might want ))

Raven stopped when she saw that Felix and Scamp both had wide and frightened eyes before turning to look at Aiden when she heard what he said and saw what he had in his hand to offer her in order to feed the kits.
"Thanks love," she said as she took the pouch from him before kissing him softly on the cheek.
After she did that, she turned again so that her attention was again on the kits, made her way over to them, opened both of the cages, and then emptied the contents of the pouch into both bowls that were in both enclosures before closing them again.

Tami smiled when she heard what Kieran said in reply before feeling the kiss he put on her forehead. She then watched as he got out of bed, following suit soon after before listening to everything else he said.
"Raven and I will probably be behind you guys in a bit and you never know he could already be up," she said in reply to both of his last statements before fixing her hair and straightening her dress a little bit so it would look less messed up than it already was.

[Aw, that's awesome! The ice gryphon is wonderful! Nope, I can't think of anything else that I want. The Jackalope is SO CUTE!! Thanks. ;) FYI, my internet is going to be shut down until Dec. 5th, so I probably won't be on until then. I might be able to go to a friend's and borrow hers, but...that's a big maybe. I hate smooching. Haha...]

Watching the kits hungrily lap up their milk made Aiden realize how hungry he suddenly was "What do you want for breakfast?" he asked. Generally, he would go on patrol first, but surely the pack could live for half an hour until he was done eating breakfast with his mate.

Kieran chuckled "He could be, but I doubt it." he slipped a clean shirt over his head, ran his fingers through his hair, and then walked over to the door "I will see you in a little while then." since they were all going on patrol first thing, they would meet at their usual meeting place: the rock in the forest clearing. He opened the door and walked outside, closing the door behind him. He took a deep breath and stretched, then he started making his way toward Raven's hut....or rather, Raven AND Aiden's hut.

((you're welcome and that's fine ; I won't be available until Saturday since I'm going to Athens, Alabama tomorrow to visit family but I might get on in spurts on my fire if I'm able to get on their WiFi...if you have a library near you that lets you use their WiFi, you can do that; I did that before internet was set up at our new house

"It doesn't matter since I'm fine with anything but won't Kieran be here soon to pick you up for a patrol?" Raven asked with her head tilted a bit to the side. "We can just eat after the patrol."
She was happy that he wanted to eat breakfast with her before she, Tami, him, and Kieran all went out on a patrol but at the same time didn't mind waiting until it was over to eat.

"He can still surprise you and okay," Tami said in reply to both of Kieran's statements before he left to head over to Raven and Aiden's hut to get the latter for a patrol.
She would get Raven soon after so that they could patrol their area and then meet up with their mates afterward at the rock in the forest clearing.

Aiden thought about what Raven said, and before he could reply, there was a knock at the hut door.
"Aiden! Patrol!"
Aiden sighed and made a facepalm "Welllllp. I guess that answers your question." he said, looking back up at Raven and grinning. He walked over to the door and leaned against it "Ah gee Kieran. I don't feel so good today. Can't I get away with being sick and let a pretty girl take care of me for the day?" he asked loudly through the door.
"No. You can't." Kieran replied from the other side.
Aiden looked back at Raven "A little help?" he mouthed, then he moaned loudly "Seriously Kieran, I think I might be on my death bed!"
"Aiden, don't make me come in there after you..." Kieran replied from the other side.

Raven just nodded in reply to what Aiden said before hearing the knock on the door, followed by Kieran's voice behind it. She then hid a smile and giggle from behind her hand when she saw the former's grin and then heard what he said before blushing a bit when she heard the bit about a "pretty girl" taking care of him, knowing that he was talking about her. She caught his mouthed words, stood up afterward, and then made him sit down before wetting a washcloth and putting it on his forehead afterward. She feigned a look of concern as she got out a thermometer and put it in his mouth before going to the door and opening it.
"Seriously Kieran Aiden woke up in a grouchy and grumpy mood this morning with a sore throat and a small fever," she said still with the fake look of concern on her face that she made look real. "Just look at him."
After she said that last statement, she opened the door a little wider so that Kieran could see Aiden sitting at the table with the washcloth on his head.
"I was just about to make him some broth that he could eat and then make him take it easy for the rest of the day," she said after closing it to the position that it had been in before when she had opened it. "If he feels better later, I'll go on patrol with him so you don't have to worry about him behaving and all that other stuff."

Kieran was barely convinced. If it had been anyone other than Raven telling him this, he wouldn't have been convinced at all....except, of course, it had been Tami. He looked suspiciously at Aiden, who sat at the table looking pathetic with a wet clothe on his forehead, then he looked back at Raven and sighed.
"All right then." he said "I trust he is in good hands. I'll leave you too it then." he pointed at Aiden, however, and made the "I have my eye on you" gesture. With that, he smiled, turned, and walked off. He would find Tami and let her know of the recent occurrence....and perhaps suggest that she look in on his evil twin, just to make sure Aiden was really legit.

Once Kieran was gone and Raven had shut the door, Aiden bounded out of his chair and dashed across to Raven, scooping her up into his arms and swinging her around "You were TERRIFIC!" he laughed.

Raven waited for what felt like hours but was only about 10 or 15 minutes before she heard Kieran sigh and then listened to what he said afterward. She just nodded and then closed the door after smiling back at him and after he walked off. Once the door was completely closed and she had turned, she let out a surprised sound before laughing a bit as Aiden scooped her up in his arms and swung her around.
"Thank you but we'll have to keep the farce up for a little bit longer since he might get Tami to check in on us to make sure you're really sick or not," she said in reply to his exclaimed statement and after she was done laughing.

Tami had left her and Kieran's hut after having something small to eat and was now walking around the camp, waiting for her mate to come back. She had seen him go to what was now Raven and Aiden's hut and also had seen him stand outside their front door for awhile so she wondered if the brothers weren't going to go on a patrol together because of something that might have come up but she wouldn't know that for sure until the former reported back to her on what was going on.

((a couple of things: 1 I've reached the maximum level on Snow Wars [ ] and 2 I'll be going to Denver, CO tomorrow night and will be staying there until New Year's Eve; I'll most likely be able to reply to stuff in the morning and early afternoon but at 2:15, my sister and I will be going with my dad and my dad's friend to the airport...the flight's at 6 so we'll want to get to the airport before then; the info about the trip tomorrow is in my profile.
