[Ah! Your fort looks so freaking awesome!! I reached max level last night. And that's cool about Denver CO! Be sure to have fun. Don't worry about getting back with me until you are rested up from your trip. I wouldn't want you making any gramatical errors on the account of sleep deprivation or anything. ]

Aiden set Raven down and ran his fingers through his hair "Oh yeah. Good point. He would do something silly like that." he shrugged and then flopped onto the bed "Okay then...make me look sick."

Kieran spotted Tami quickly and he walked over to her with a somewhat strained smile "Aiden's sick." he said with a pause "I'm inclined it's a "sick" instead of a "sick, sick", but Raven says he really is sick, so..." he shrugged and rubbed the back of his head "Would you mind checking on him?"

Raven nodded after Aiden set her down and then went to get some powder-like make up that she had beside her bed. Once she retrieved them, she went back over to him, and started to make him look like he was sick by making him look pale. She tried to hurry since she figured that Kieran would want to send Tami over now to check on him.

Tami saw the somewhat strained smile that Kieran had on his face when he walked over to her and wondered what it was for before hearing what all he said and what he asked.
"Nope," she said in reply before giving him a small soft kiss on his lips and then heading over to Raven and Aiden's hut.

Aiden folded his hands over his belly and closed his eyes as Raven worked on him "Be sure to make me look really, really sick. Maybe I can get the whole week off!"

Kieran watched Tami walk away toward the other hut "Thanks." he said, then called after her "I'll be on patrol if you need me!"
He turned and walked outside of camp, then he shifted into wolf form and began to jog at a leisurely pace, heading toward the border.

((I did ; it looks awesome by the way ...I also edited mine again so you can click on the link that I posted with my previous post so you can see it that way or you can attack me and see it; either one...I also didn't get a frigaes reindeer or another present from the mods thanking me for participating in the Christmas Event ; unless the wreath and sleigh bell pegasi that were dropping in the stream was that present that we could get on our own, then never mind))

Raven giggled a bit when she heard what Aiden said and said in reply as she continued to work on him, "I can try but I can't guarantee that it'll get you off from patrolling the whole week."
She then continued to work on him the best that she could so that he could look really sick. She figured that Kieran was going to be sending Tami over soon if he hadn't already done so she knew that she needed to work fast so she did.

Tami waved behind her to where Kieran had been, indicating that she had heard both of his statements before walking up to Raven and Aiden's hut. After she got to the front porch, she knocked and waited for a response from inside or for no response.
Raven had just finished her handiwork when she heard a knock on their hut's front door. She put the powder-like make up away quickly and then went over to the door, opening it and answering.
"Hey Tami," she said with a sad smile when she saw her friend standing there. "I'm guessing you came to check on how Aiden's doing?"
"Hey Raven and yes I did," Tami said in reply to her friend's response before stepping inside the hut after the former let her in. "How's he doing?"
Raven closed the door behind Tami after the latter had come in and then led the way to their bedroom while saying in reply to the latter's question, "Come see for yourself."
Tami nodded and followed after Raven to where Aiden was and saw him laying down on the bed, with a pale-looking face and lines under his eyes as well as a cloth on his forehead that she figured was cold so that it could help him cool off.
"I'm sorry that he's sick so soon after you two became mates and I hope he'll feel better soon," she said after studying him for a few minutes longer and having her attention go to her friend.
"It's okay and I do too," she said as she led Tami back to the door so that the latter could go on with her day. "I'm thinking the reason for why he's sick is because we stayed up late last night and in the cold weather. That's the only thing I can think of for why he's sick since I know he didn't drink anything."
Tami nodded as she listened to her friend's guess of why Aiden was sick and then walked out the door after the former had opened it for her.
"Good luck with taking care of him and if you need any help or anything let me know and I'll try to help as much as I can," she said with a reassuring smile before turning and walking away.
Raven nodded and then once Tami was far enough away from the hut, she closed the door and walked back over to where Aiden was.

Once Tami had gotten back to the middle of the camp, she started to run towards the woods and then shifted mid-stride to her wolf form so that she could run faster and catch up with Kieran to let him know what her findings on Aiden's condition were.

I twitter spammed my eggs, froze some of them, and everything, but alas...I didn't get one. *heavy sigh - great sadness* I suppose I will have to buy one from someone.}}

Aiden mostly kept his eyes closed while Tami was there. He put a grimace on his face and tried to look week, uncomfortable, and helpless. He only hoped it worked. Tami wasn't an easy person to fool... And Kieran was not an easy person to outrun if he took a mind to tan a hide.
Once Tami was gone and Raven had shut the door, Aiden sat bolt upright, sending the cloth on his forehead sailing "Do you think she bought it?" he asked.

Kieran loped casually through the trees, trying to keep his mind on his duty. But it was hard. He was worried about Aiden.

((yep and okay; yes I did and I also got a sleighbell Pegasus...I might just give you one if after I breed my wreath and sleighbell pegasi and end up getting a wreath pegaus as a result and after it hatches so it's a hatchling))

"I hope so," Raven said in reply to Aiden's question about whether Tami bought him being sick. "She looked convinced but we won't know for sure until later if Kieran comes back here after not believing Tami."
She then sat down on the bed after she said what she did and let out a small sigh. She wasn't worried or anything but she needed to rest a bit after having to run a bit earlier.

Once Tami caught Kieran's scent, she followed it to where he currently was and then fell in beside him afterward so that she could lope along with him.
"I saw Aiden and he does look sick but probably only for a few days and not for a long-term thing like a week so you don't have to be worried," she said after she nuzzled him a little bit out of comfort and to also let him know that she was there in case he hadn't caught her scent.

[So, so, SO sorry that I haven't posted in, like, two weeks. I was sick for an entire week, and once I got better I had to hit the ground running to catch up on work and everything else. It's been crazy.
I would REALLY love a wreath Pegasus. They were my favorite of the two pegasi.]

Kieran heard someone coming up behind him and his sharp nose picked up Tami's scent. She nuzzled him and then told him about Aiden. He was glad that Tami didn't think it was anything dangerous... but he still wasn't fully convinced. He didn't doubt Tami's ability, but he had the utmost confidence in Aiden's ability to fake things.
"Huh... well, lucky him. He gets to stay in all day." he joked "Was Raven going to stay with him?"
He figured that he would go back and check on the two of them later when he was done with patrol.

Aiden put his feet over the bed and wiped his face with one hand, smearing some of the make-up off "Well, I guess that is that. Do you wanna have some breakfast now?"

((it's okay ; oh no ...I had a cold, still have a little bit of it, last week and it was so bad that I stayed home from work on Friday to sleep; well unfortunately, they aren't breedable right now but when they are I'll try to breed you one ))

Raven nodded in reply to what Aiden said before hearing his question about eating breakfast then.
"Sure and we might have to reapply the make-up again afterward in case Kieran comes by to check on us after his patrol," she said both in reply to his question and just as a small warning in case his twin did do what she said he might do.

Tami giggled a bit at Kieran's joke before hearing his question.
"Yes I think she was but I'm also guessing that if he feels better later she'll go on a patrol with him," she said a few minutes after she had herself composed again.
She wasn't absolutely certain that that's what her friend was going to do but she knew that if Kieran were sick and she was taking care of him, that she'd go with him too if he was feeling better enough to do so.

[Yeah, that's what mine was. It had me down for 4 1/2 days. I rarely get sick, but when I do get sick, it is always a doosey.
And that would be great. I think I am going to post in the forums and see if I can trade/buy one off someone too. They are just so pretty!]

Aiden looked at the makeup that he had smeared on his hand "Oh yeah. I guess I better quit wiping this stuff off then." he sighed and wiped what was on his hand onto his pants "How do you girls stand this stuff? It feels like my face is suffocating!"

Kieran sighed "I suppose so. Hopefully he will feel better this afternoon. I hate for him to be laid up and keep Raven cooped up all day, especially since they are newly weds."
