((ah; I only stayed home one day since this new job of mine is temporary until this December so I don't want to miss too many days...I'll let you know as soon as they become breedable and then I'll attempt to breed them to get another Wreath Confara Pegasus for you ))

Raven giggled a bit at Aiden's question as well as at the exclaimed statement that he said before saying in reply to both, "I don't usually wear make-up because it's annoying but it does come in handy when you're trying to act like you're sick. Well actually you can probably wipe some of it off so that you can look like you're less pale later this afternoon and like you're feeling a little better for when Kieran comes by and wants a status update on you or something on how you're feeling."

"I'm sure she won't mind it too much and so are we," Tami said in reply to all that Kieran said in reply to what she had said earlier about Raven taking care of Aiden while he wasn't feeling well.

"Oh yeah. I guess you're right." Aiden said with a sigh "I can't stay sick forever." he winked.

Kieran smiled and nodded.

[Maybe we should skip to the next day or something? Maybe a longer time skip, like a couple of months?]

((sure and want any drama to happen after the couple of months ts? like Raven and Tami getting kidnapped by rogues or perhaps a rival pack or them being attacked by a cougar or some other wild animal which will cause Aiden and Kieran to rescue them either way?))

"Nope you can't," Raven said in reply before giggling a bit as well as blushing as well at his wink.
She didn't know why but every time he winked at her it made her embarrassed. She was trying to get better at it, though and not blush as much but knew at the same time that it might be awhile until that happened.

Tami smiled back at Kieran before nuzzling him a little bit again afterward.

ts - a couple months later

A couple of months have passed now since Raven and Aiden first became mates and they lived happily together in her hut. She was currently at a small waterfall that she had found just a few weeks before that she thought could be their secret hang-out spot for after they patrolled and just wanted to have time to themselves.

Tami was at the medical hut which used to be hers but now she shared what used to be Kieran and Aiden's family hut that they grew up in with Kieran. She was healing a few males that had gotten in fights a few hours earlier and as she did this, she just shook her head in disbelief. She figured that they were practicing for the mating rituals that were going to be coming up soon but she still couldn't believe that they'd get this injured in mock fights. She was also happy that she wouldn't be up for grabs this time since she was happily Kieran's mate and had been that for a couple months now.

[Getting kidnapped by a rogue pack sounds good! And maybe Kieran and Aiden could be pushing for leadership roles in the pack as well? That would cause a bit of an internal stir. And maybe one of the girls is pregnant?]

Kieran quietly limped into the village and toward the healing hut. He had bite marks covering his pelt, a gash in his back leg, and his left paw was perhaps sprained. He and a couple of other young wolves had a brush with some rogues....and it had not overly gone well. The rogues all escaped, and everyone in Keiran's company had been injured. What was more was that the Beta male had been consulting with the rogues and had left with them.
Kieran didn't want to cause a stir in the village, and especially with Tami, so he ordered the younger wolves to be vague with anyone who asked until the Alpha had been told about what had happened. Then he ordered them to filter in two at a time, for Tami's sake. He, however, was alone. Aiden had been with him, but after the brush with the rogues, Aiden was concerned that Raven was outside of camp and so went to look for her.
Kieran limped up to the healing hut and pushed the door open with his nose. Some of the younger wolves were still with Tami, but were almost finished, so Kieran sat down gingerly to wait his turn. He wasn't quite sure how he would explain his injuries to Tami. Aiden was the skilled liar and he usually told all the tall tales when the two of them wanted to cover something up, but Aiden wasn't here....so Kieran was on his own.

Aiden loped through the trees toward he and Raven's secret hang out: the waterfall. He knew she would be waiting there for him to finish his patrol with Aiden, like she always did, and that was what sent chills up his spine. What if the rogue wolves and the beta had circled around and found her?
His belly was on fire where another wolf had gouged him with his nails, and blood dripped from his nose and his right ear, but his mind was on Raven's safety. If anything happened to her, he would never forgive himself.
Finally he came to where he could see the waterfall. He paused and took a deep breath, relieved to see that Raven was there and safe.
He shifted to his human form and groaned as pain raked across his belly from the deep scratches there. He slumped over slightly and put his hand over the scratches, then walked down toward where Raven was waiting.

((Okie dokie and which girl? Raven or Tami? Oh here's something better; how about both girls?))

Raven turned from the stream that was beneath the waterfall when she picked up the scent of blood and saw Aiden coming towards her from the woods and immediately got worried.
"What happened Aiden and why are you wounded?" she asked after she caught up halfway to him.
She had a worried expression on her face that also had one that showed a little bit of fear. The ones that had gone after Aiden could come after her as well.

After Tami was done helping the younger wolves, she turned her attention to the door and saw Kieran there. She got a little worried when she saw that he was injured.
"What happened, love? Why are you injured?" she asked as she went over to where he was in wolf form and knelt down beside him.
She was really concerned about him but also worried that what had happened to him also would happen to her and she was a little scared about that.

((Both would be cool. But one at a time would cause a more....ummm... idk...interesting story? It would be more singular. You know what I mean?))

Aiden pulled Raven into a hug, holding her tightly for a moment until his stomach began to ache and burn really bad. He pulled back and took a deep breath.
"It was just a skirmish. Nothing to worry about." he answered her question with a weak smile, trying to put her concerns at ease "I knew you would be waiting for me and I didn't want to stand you up."

Kieran whimpered and held his paw out toward Tami. He didn't want to shift into human form until she had healed some of his injuries. Right now, he was only a little over 100 pounds. In his human form, he was easily over 210 pounds. The extra weight on his injuries did not sound....delightful.

((Yeah; who should be pregnant first then? Raven or Tami?))

Raven hugged Aiden back before he pulled away and then said what he did. She nodded and then briefly looked at the ground before having her attention be on him shortly afterward.
"I'm scared Aiden," she said affer hesitating a little bit. "What if they're still around and they come after me next?"
She had no idea if that was going to happen but just the possibility of it had her feel a bit scared.

Tami took the hint and healed the paw that Kieran held toward her to heal and then healed some of his other injuries as well so that he would feel a little better and that the weight of them would be a little better than they currently were. Once she did that, she looked at him expectantly and waited for what he would say in reply to her questions that she had asked a few minutes earlier.

[Ummmmmm.... how about Raven?]

Aiden stared at Raven a moment. The fear she shared was very much a possibility in his mind, but he didn't want her to know that....not yet anyway. He didn't want her to worry. So, he finally waved his hand dismissively "Naw. They won't bother with you. It was just some young pups from the village, you know. They know you would kick their butts if they bothered you, and then I would come along and kick their's again." he grinned "Don't worry about it. It's okay." he grimaced as a flare of pain burst across his belly again "But, all the same, I would feel better if we got back to camp and had Tami heal me up."

Kieran sighed in relief as some of his wounds were healed up. When Tami stepped back, he shifted up into his human form, grimacing slightly as parts of his body still complained about scratches and bruises, particularly his shoulders and neck.
"I see you had a few other visitors." Kieran said as the younger guys that Tami had been healing got up and left quietly "What happened to them?" like he didn't know.... but he wasn't exactly sure what excuses they had used. If he knew their excuses, maybe he could formulate one of his own based on theirs. He never had been a terribly skilled liar....

((Sure; should she already know that she's pregnant or would she know that later?))

Raven felt a little better when she heard what Aiden said in response to what she had said about her being afraid and just nodded in reply to that and to what he said last about getting back to get Tami to heal his wounds that he had received in the skirmish.
"Okay let's get you back to camp," she said before leading the way back to camp but stopped a few minutes later to wait for him since he was injured and she didn't want to leave him behind.

Tami worked on the rest of Kieran's wounds as she listened to what he said and what he asked about the patients that she had earlier.
"They got into some mock fights for the mating rituals in a couple of weeks," she said as she finished up healing the rest of the wounds he had from the skirmish he had gotten in earlier.

Aiden kept up with Raven pretty well, but when she paused, he moved beside her and wrapped his arm around her waist, holding her close as they walked. It made him feel better.

"Ah, I see." Keiran replied. Mock fighting rituals... well, that wouldn't work for him. He already had a mate.
"Well, I had a little scrap myself." he said "Nothing to really worry about." he tried to skirt around the subject.
