((Oooh! I like Sabrina. And what the corrupt beta said was fine. I've just been playing by the seat of my pants, so I didn't have any deep plot or anything.))

Aiden and Kieran were carefully and slowly closing in on the rogue camp. As far as they could tell, everything about the camp looked normal. Whatever trap was awaiting them, it was well hidden. The best warriors were further outside the camp, surrounding it and awaiting the order to attack. It was decided that, if Aiden and Kieran did not give the order within 20 minutes, the warriors were to attack anyway, and they would all attack in human form with weapons. It was likely that they would cause more damage that way.
Kieran paused as he spotted the ex-beta making his way toward a hut with a couple of guards. He went inside, and after a moment, he came back out again.
"Do you think the girls are in there?" Aiden whispered.
Kieran nodded "I think so."
"But why would they put them in a supply hut? Why not in a prison hut?" Aiden asked.
Kieran looked at his twin "Because the prison hut would have been the first place we would have looked. Our old beta has gotten careless." he looked back at the camp and chose the quickest and most concealed path to the hut. He could see a few sentries sitting in concealed positions around and throughout the camp, so he knew it would not be easy to slip through un-spotted.
He looked at Aiden and nodded to a sentry on the far side of the camp, sitting in a tree "Can you hit him?"
Aiden pulled out a long tube and carefully inserted a thorn into it "I think so. He's a bigger target than a squirrel." he wiggled over to a bush where he would be concealed and then sat up to one knee. He raised the long tube up to his lips and blew very hard. The thorn sailed through the air, and then the sentry yelped and squirmed before falling limp and hitting the ground. An alarm sounded and several other sentries along with concealed warriors burst from their hiding places and straight for the fallen one, clearing the way for Aiden and Kieran.
Aiden cam in close to Kieran and they both shifted to wolf form before darting down the hill. Kieran led the way and what seemed like long minutes was only a few seconds before they both arrived at the supply hut and quickly slipped in the door.
"Raven!" Aiden gasped as soon as he spotted his mate lying tied up on the floor. He shifted into his human form and crawled over to her, quickly yanking at the knots.
Kieran stood guard by the door, hair bristled and tail high, just in case anyone followed them in. He took position where, if someone did walk in, he would be covered by the door and could surprise them. He glanced at Tami, desperately wanting to hold her and ask who had given her a bruise on her cheek. But he knew he had to cover the door while Aiden untied the ropes.

((K and oh is that what those things do? I didn't know and I do have rose imps but what do they change to?))

Raven and Tami both got renewed hope when they heard the alarm sound in the rogue camp, knowing that Aiden and Kieran had come with a few experienced warriors in order to rescue them. When they did come in while in wolf form, they looked relieved and Raven waited patiently for Aiden to finish untying the ropes around her hands and feet. Once he was done, she hugged him with a small sniff before gesturing towards Tami so that he could do the same for her. She knew that her friend wanted to console Kieran and let him know that she was okay and to tell him the reason behind the bruise on her cheek and who had given it to her.

Aiden held Raven tightly until she gestured toward Tami. He quickly moved over to Tami and tugged at her bonds until they came loose.
"Okay girls, this is going to have to be quick. They are waiting for us. We will have to be in wolf form." Aiden said.

Kieran smelled at the door, his sharp nose catching a few new scents coming close. They were coming toward the hut.
He looked at the others and whimpered softly, tucking his tail.
Aiden caught his brother's meaning quickly "Get back!" he whispered at the girls, stepping in front of them.
Suddenly, the door was flung open and the ex-beta and two warriors burst in.
"Going somewhere?!" the ex-beta bellowed.
Aiden didn't waist any time. He charged forward and pummled into the other man, knocking him outside the hut, while Kieran lunged out from behind the door and attacked one of the guards, knocking him into the other guard.
"Gotta get the girls out!" Kieran thought. A fist slammed into the side of his head, dazing him, but he was fast enough to snatch the fallen spear into his mouth and jump backwards. He shifted into his human form and took the spear into his hands just in time to stab it into one of the guards aiming for him.
"Girls! Get out of here!" Kieran said before stabbing the other guard.

((okay will do ; also sorry for the late response ...I had a really bad headache last night and just wanted to go to bed in order to make it a little better; oh and "waste" and "pummeled" but if you were in a hurry in getting that posted, then never mind and just thought I'd point those out in case you hadn't been in a hurry and didn't notice ))

Raven and Tami nodded in reply to what Aiden said about them having to be quick as well as what he said about them needing to be in wolf form before Sedrick, the ex-beta, and two warriors burst into the food storage hut. They then nodded again when they heard his whisper about getting back and did. They then shifted into wolf form before going over to their mates, licking them on the cheek, biting one of Sedrick's arms, Tami his left and Raven his right, and then running away from the hut and towards the woods as fast as they could back to their camp after they heard what Kieran said about getting out. They had wanted to tell them to be careful, but didn't want to waste any time in being free from the rogue camp. They didn't encounter any of the rogue warriors on their way back to the camp which they thought was weird before just shrugging it off and figured that they were busy with the warriors that Aiden and Kieran had brought with them in rescuing them from the evil ex-beta's clutches.

((That's no problem. Goodness knows that I have been late in replying too! Besides that, I totally understand the headache issue. I've been fighting one for the last two weeks. My neck is so out of alignment, it's not even funny. And ho hum... I hadn't noticed those little mistakes. But I'm not going to thank you for pointing them out. You don't need the encouragement. ))

The fight was a blur in Aiden's mind. His struggle with the ex-beta was intense, all of his worry and anger pulsing through his body and into the fight. Several others, rogues, tried to get into fight, and before long, Aiden was covered in his own blood. But he stayed focused on the corrupt ex-beta, especially as Kieran began picking off rogues with a spear and their warriors began to flood the camp. Soon, the rogues were scattering in all directions, and Aiden and the ex-beta were still fighting. Aiden landed a punch into the other man's face, knocking the beta back against a hut.
"Aiden! Get back!" Kieran said "You're too tired."
Aiden ignored his twin though. He was too angry. This man that he was fighting could have brought the pack to ruin, caused bloodshed, and endagered Raven.
Gritting his teeth, he rushed at the man again, planning to grab him by the ears and smash his head into the side of the hut, but just as he grabbed the other man, a sharp pain flared in his side and his vision flickered.
"Aiden!" Kieran screamed.
The ex-beta pushed Aiden back, and Aiden's legs involuntarily buckled and he fell to his back with blood running from his side where a sharp bone knife was protruding.

A couple of warriors and Kieran all pounced on the ex-beta, making the man scream, but then everything became quiet.
"Aiden!" Kieran ran back to his twin and dropped to his knees, scooping his brother up into his arms. He put his hand over Aiden's wound.
"Kieran..." Aiden whispered "Kieran....I'm cold."
Kieran looked up at some of the warriors "Find a cot. We have to get him back to camp now." One of the other men came up with a torn rag and put it on Aiden's wound. Soon, some others came up with a cot and the group hoisted Aiden onto it. Kieran ordered some of the warriors to track down and secure some of the fleeing rogues, while the rest of them accompanied Kieran and helped him carry Aiden back to camp.
"Aiden. Stay awake. No matter what you do, don't fall asleep." Kieran said. He was terrified that Aiden would die the same way their father did: falling asleep and never waking up again. If Aiden died, he just didn't know what he would do.

((Okay ^^; I get random headaches at times and it's really annoying...the one I had is gone but I'll probably get another one at another time; okie dokie ))

Tami made sure that Raven was back safe at the healer's hut before turning back to the woods and to where Aiden and Kieran were. She had a bad feeling about something and wasn't sure what but if one of them was gravely and seriously injured, she needed to be there to help heal the one that was injured. She took off running towards the woods and saw her mate and a few of their warriors making their way back towards the camp with Aiden being carried on a cot.
"What happened?" she asked after she had shifted back to her human form and then had her attention go to Aiden's wound and started to heal it.
She made sure that he was laying back on the cot and that he was still so that he wasn't moving and also tried to keep him calm and awake, at least until she had his wound healed and then he could sleep for as long as he wanted, by reminding him of Raven and the three pups that she was expecting that would make him a father and that he also had a reason to live.

((AAAAH! A Silver egg! Yay! Thank you very much! And yes, I have 2 Ultraviolets on my scroll. You know what I have not been able to get my hands on? Second gen or CB Blusang. It's ridicules! My sister has been able to snatch some CB, but not me. And it's no use trying to trade for them either. If someone is offering a CB Blusang, they want some seriously rare dragons for it. It's crazy. Have you had the same problem? I'm just venting about it, btw, not dropping any hints. I have already told my sister that if she finds any more CB Blusang, I want them. But they seem seriously impossible to get!))

Kieran was so relieved to see Tami coming their way, meeting them about half way "The ex-beta stabbed him." he offered the simple explination to Tami and watched eagerly as she set to work healing Aiden. Gradually, the bleeding stopped and his wound began to close up. It was the most fascinating thing Kieran had ever seen, and he felt a load of worry lift off his shoulders when Aiden started breathing normally.
"Thank you.... Tami." Aiden whispered groggily, grinning slightly "It's still creepy...your gift. But, you know, it's great." his eyes slowly drifted close as he started to fall asleep.
"Is he out of danger?" Kieran asked, looking at Tami.

((you're welcome ; darn because if you didn't have any I would've gotten you one...I just recently bred myself one and it has finally started to hatch; I do have one CB Blusang but I can't seem to get any others; it's weird...can you breed me one pretty please? I'm also on the hunt for the green, blue, red, and yellow dino eggs; I got another purple a couple weeks back but I can't seem to get the other colors...oh also can you breed me a green copper? that's the only copper I don't have and can't seem to find in the cave))

Tami scowled at the news of Sedrick having been the one to stab Aiden before completely healing the latter's wound.
"You're welcome," she said in reply Aiden's thanks before having her attention go to Kieran as she heard his question and saw the concerned expression on his face.
"Yes he's okay now and just needs a lot of rest," she said in reply to it as they started to head back towards camp. "I know that you would have been devastated if he had died but I think that Raven would have been even more so since she's about to have their pups and she loves him dearly."

Kieran nodded grimly and motioned for two of the men to carry Aiden on to camp before taking Tami by the elbow gently and stopping "Stay at camp and watch over him, will you? I have to lead the others and hunt down the rest of the rogues." he looked at her, then pulled her into a hug. He could have lost her and Aiden both today..... but he couldn't let the emotions take over him now.
He pulled back from her and looked at the other warriors waiting for him "We'll be back." he promised Tami, then he shifted into a wolf and took off into the woods with the other warriors following close behind.

Aiden slowly woke up to a dark hut and he slowly blinked his eyes "Raven?" he croaked out in a hoarse whisper. His throat was so dry, and he couldn't tell what hut he was in because his vision was so blurred.
