"Ahhh it's so soft!" cried Amie excitedly as she lifted up her dress and kicked off her shoes, running across the grass happily. Aura followed her, picking up the delicate slippers and holding them for her patiently.
Willa was still swaying gently in the breeze. "We must of~" she sighed peacefully, her eyes sparkling. "It must be the power of a Forest Guardian and Dryad coming together, catalysed by the energy of you three. Plants need to be loved and cherished to thrive, after all~"
you spend some time evaluating this little niche you'd set camp in the night before. You decide, with the nature here, it might be a good place to set up home.
You leave your Misfits to celebrate for the time being and head over to the Goblin's Hut, introducing yourself as his new neighbour.
He rubs his chin as he rocks backwards and forewards in his old rocking chair.
"Intrestin', never heard of a bunch of Misfits settling down in these lands. Mostly goblins and the like, or lost critters dancing about the place. There aint much rain or sun here, and it can be a little dangerous at times, but theres always an adventure to be had and strange things await you out in these lands. Even goblin kin aint never explored all of it." As a show of good faith you buy a few new bottles and head back towards home. Butterflies rose in your chest at the word - home. It didn't look like much yet, but you were sure the five of you could build a wonderful place to live.
You suddenly stop, your thoughts cut short, one foot still lifted off the ground. The feeling was more familliar now, and you turned to follow your gut.
Two Misfits in the clearing caught your eye this time; at completely seperate sides to each other. Both were resting in the shade, but at opposite ends of the clearing. One was a woman, looking quite fearsome and resolute. The other a relatively lithe man who seemed a little mysterious.
You scratch your head and sit down on the ground. Perhaps Shinrin would come to check up on you soon, and the pair of you might be able to bring these new companions back with you.

Baird stared. His eyes narrowed. "This little thing? This isn't a boar, it's a snack at best. The thing's the same size as my hand!" he grinned, flashing his teeth brightly, opening his mouth...
The boar squealed, shocked that it's master was not as kind as he thought. He lept off the hat and ran for his life around the boat. Baird roared with laughter which brought a sleepy Puuyo, a sickly looking Isobelle and a still-angry Reina out from inside the ship.
"Catch that pig!" roared Baird as he dashed after the little thing. Puuyo, curious, followed at a leisurely pace. You think Isobelle was still a little disorientated, but she came to stand beside you and watch the fiasco as it happened.
Reina looked unimpressed.
The air was filled with the sound of coughing and spluttering. You turn, just in time to look on in surprise at the mailbox, spitting out the order you filed when you arrived.

You pause over a girl about the age of seven. She was curled up into a ball, her hands pressed up against her face, her hair obscuring most of her expression from view. You couldn't help getting the feeling that this was a very delicate child, and decide to sit down quietly beside her.
"ooooh, a child?" whispered Toddle from beside you, his eyes twinkling. No doubt he really liked the idea of having an excuse next time he did something silly or fun. You pat the ground next to you and he flops down, keeping a watchful eye on her.
You press your finger to your lips and smile. "Her names Agalia." you explain. Knowing that Toddle would usually get bored and start playing games when left to sit for a long time, you offer to let him go grab you a bottle from the goblin to keep him busy. To your surprise he refuses your offer. You pop over to the goblin's shack, who smiles at you with a toothy grin and nods his head to his wares.
"Hey there! So nice to see the two of you back to visit. Hope that one's been keeping out of trouble. Sure it's never a bore around with him though - anyway - heres our new bottles in, take a look."
You pick up a bottle that you'd mistaken for a candle at first. The wax on the outside peels off in your hands, and you can see that there is indeed a bottle within. Heading back over to Toddle, you are surprised to see he has been very dutifully watching over Agalia while you were gone.
Well, he offered you a box of popcorn. "I love his movie! The next part's the best bit." he whispered to you.

Right in the centre of this clearing, sitting in a patch of light, were two young children sleeping deeply. One was a boy who could not have been older then four, another a determined looking girl who looked around eight.
"Recognise them?" the goblin asks you with a nod, and you realise you already know who they are: Blink and Chocco. "They've been waiting for you. Here, com with me and you can buy some presents for 'em." he takes you over to a small, rickety stall, similar to one you might see at a carnival or farmers market. Lining the shelves are lots of unusual bottles, each glowing with a strange light from within them. You pick out two that take your fancy - a feathery bottle that seems fierce and strong, and a bottle made of deliate paper, beautifully folded. You return to your Misfits, treasure in hand, and await their awakening.

Not even, you thought, he was going to take a while to live this down. Probably longer, if Bas decided he wanted to tease him some more...
Master Tizzlewhick's gaze fell on the lovely Aendy. "Sister?" he exclaimed, wrinkling his nose. "Ew! All sister's do is yell at you and stamp their feet and get in the way of science. Still, maybe a younger one's easier."he muttered with a huff, crossing his arms accusingly. Aendy's bright, happy expression fell to a pout. You could tell she was really excited about having a sibling. She was about three quarters of Tizzlewhick's height, but she strode right up to him and looked him dead in the eye.
They weighed each other up.
"Hm!" exclaimed Aendy after a while, and she turned on her heels and walked to stand beside you. She refused to look at him.
You scratch your head, but decide that they're just being kids, and would probably work things out with a little encouragement sooner or later. You decide now was the best time to set off, so you have one last stop at the goblin's stall before leaving the clearing and the Land of Lost hings altogether.
Bas offers to push the now empty wheelbarrow, and you can hear a quiet hiss from under it at the idea.

One in particular took your eye; a young poised women who you recognised as Livessa. You stared at her for a while, and as you looked on, you could swear colour was starting to return to her cheeks. It was like your recognition of her had triggered her awakening.
"Welcome, welcome!" called a voice from beside you, and the goblin led you to his stall. "We have something for everybody, here. Take your pick."
You pick out your chosen bottles and head back to the sleeping lady. You settle down and resolve to watch over her through the night.

Bolts, it seemed, had taken a shining interest in MARK-12, who wasn't quite sure how to take it. It seemed Bolt's recognised that MARK-12 was in some way mechanical, and he really seemed to look up to him. Still, MARK-12 was always busy exploring the Mechnical Graveyard and bringing back old parts to use for furnishing the house. Bolts was very good at melding things together, and it seemed he had some sort of blowtorch ability. A cap would come off his index finger and erupt into flame.
MARK-12 would always be sure to be very far away when it happened.
All in all, as you gathered up your Misfits to discuss the issue of names, you couldn't help but feel like this place was slowly becoming homely. Even the mailbox seemed to be settling in nicely, for sometimes it liked to guess at what sort of bottles you planned on ordering. When the last catalogue came through, some of the bottles had already been highlighted in cherry-red ink. You smiled and patted the mailbox, agreeing with at least some of it's choices.
Yeah, this world was really wierd. You wondered what adventures lay in store for you now that you had a place to live with your Misfits.

sorry for the lateness of my post, I had a very busy week ^^ I applied for an apprenticeship in graphic design that I really wanted and they accepted the application. I should be starting late next week or monday the week after, so if posts get a bit frazzled while I get used to the hours, that's why. Don't worry though, Misfits will be continuing on as usual. Hopefully my art quality should improve during the placement too, particularly landscapes ;D
Sorry Tangle, Morro has already been adopted. In future, I will write on the front page when a Misfit has been adopted, just so people are aware before I make a post. When I started the thread I'd usually respond really quickly when someone adopted a Misfit so I didn't think about it at the time, but I think it's a bit more needed now. Sorry again to you and Umbrah, I promise it'll be more easy to tell in future!
No worries Sparrowflight! Please don't feel guilty for dong this out of character. That's actually how I assumed people would play origionally, it was just a pleasant surprise when people joined in with me. What is more important is that you are having fun, so please don't pressure yourself to make posts :3
Also, if we had a Wishfit week, each Wishfit would be reserved for the person who wished for them, no need to pay. Wishfit weeks would only occur when there were 6 wished for Wishfits, and perhaps 6 bottles. I haven't fully fleshed out the details yet, but it would mean there would still be 6 Misfits available for anyone to buy the rest of the time. Wishfits would probably be reserved for a week, unless someone explicitly stated they were going away or offered the Misfit for anyone to adopt.
