I just don't know if it would really work since Chon'sin is based of Feudal Japan which is different from China. See if it was left ambiguous then it'd probably be fine. But I think I read somewhere that it was explicitly inspired by that, and I'm not sure if that would be right to mix up cultures like that. I've tried searching to see if there was a Japanese equivalent, but I couldn't find any. Nor could I even find tell of the Chinese "flower crown = prostitute" thing anywhere. All I could find about flower crowns in China was about ones made from orange blossoms being worn during wedding ceremonies.

I would ask my mom about that but she might take it weirdly. Anyway I see Chon'sin more Japanese than Chinese and it's still part of a medieval western world so I would just do what you want and not worry about real world implications unless it's blatantly obvious.
